Elara scrolled through the comments listlessly until one caught her attention, "I'm excited to see what mother does next?!" She mused, "Yeah, you and me both." The cancellation of the show had left her in a loop of waking up, crying, getting high, crying some more, and returning to bed. Anyone who knew Elara would know she was destroying herself - she wasn't eating, she hasn't had any fresh air , her hair was tangled and knotty, her lips were dry, she had stained tear marks on her pillows and quite frankly she even was beginning to smell. This was the complete opposite of the Elara everyone knew and loved.

Four days later, a message from her best friend and former co-star Amita broke the cycle. Amita suggested a night out to distract themselves. Despite her feeling of wanting to drown in her sorrows- like she's been doing for the past four days, Elara agreed, realizing her current routine was far from healthy. That night, they hit their favorite local spoons, and reached a new level of hammered. They danced away their sorrows, sang till their voices were hoarse, and for a brief moment, life felt right again, filled with a semblance of hope.

Yet, in the days that followed, silence from her agency weighed heavily on Elara. Doubts crept in – would she ever act again? Her love for idle days had turned bitter, now that they were not by choice.

Lost in her spiraling thoughts, she almost missed the call from her agency. "Hello?" she answered, her voice raspy from the previous night's escapades.

"Elara, it's Stella. I've got big news," came the agent's voice, filled with barely-contained excitement"

A moment of silence passed as Klara processed this.

"Oi Elara, are you there? Don't zone out on me now!"

Snapping back, Elara replied, "Sorry, just spaced out for a second there."

"Listen carefully, because this is huge," Stella continued, her tone teasing yet urgent. "Emerald Fennell, a rising director, is working on a film called 'Saltburn.' Her son was watching "Shadow and Bone" and She saw you and insists you're perfect for the lead role. I'm sending over the details for the character and audition."

Elara was speechless, her mind racing. "Are you serious? This... this is unbelievable."

We don't have time to dwell on feelings, Elara. This is your shot, again. I'm having Frank send over everything you need. Get ready to dive into those lines."

Before Elara could fully express her gratitude, Stella already ended the call, leaving her in a whirlwind of emotions.

This was it. A pivotal moment. Despite the turmoil of the past week, Elara knew this opportunity was her chance at redemption, a second act in her career. Aria was the girlfriend to Felix catton she was initially perceived as a standard gold digger, however, Aria's complexity intrigued Elara. As she read on, she was captivated by the revelation that Aria was not a gold digger but rather she was the queen of schemes, enthralling Elara and intensifying her desire for the role.

Continuing to read, Elara reached the bottom and discovered that she would have to perform numerous sexual intimate scenes, including kissing Felix. Despite her initial excitement and intense desire for the role, a subtle worry crept in about who would be cast as Felix – a crucial character.

In the midst of her concern, Elara found herself hoping for good chemistry with whoever played Felix, realizing how vital their connection would be for authentic performances.
