It was the next day and el had woken up and she checked her phone to see if there's been an update on her audition, to her surprise she did receive a message from Stella:

STELLA (AGENT)

STELLA: 🥳 ! You've gone through into the next stage: the chemistry reading between you and the guy who's been casted to play Felix. And before you ask, no I don't know who will be playing Felix and yes we are trying to get an insight on who it is.

STELLA: whoops - forgot to mention the reading will be taking place in 2 days time at 1pm at XXXXXXXXXXXX. Check your email I have sent you the script for the reading - Good luck ! 💋

'Eh, wtf so soon' she thought to herself, her eyes almost popping out her socket.

'This must mean that they have casted felix already' she picked nervously at her nails.

Rolling over onto her side, she quickly send out a message in response then checked her emails and opened the script:

CHEMISTRY READING SCRIPT

In a dimly lit corner of the room, Felix sat slouched in a chair, boredom etched on his features as he absentmindedly smoked a cigarette. He engaged in half-hearted conversation with a random girl, his mind drifting in and out of focus.

"...so yeah, that's why I decided to major in sociology," the girl rambled on, oblivious to Felix's lack of interest.

Felix nodded politely, offering a forced smile as he took another drag from his cigarette. His gaze wandered aimlessly until it landed on the prettiest girl he has ever seen.

Aria stood in the smoking area, taking a momentary break from the chaos of the party, when she felt a sudden rush of smoke engulf her face. Startled, she blinked rapidly, trying to clear her vision, only to find a very tall but handsome man now standing in front of her, with a mischievous glint in his eyes as he took another drag from his cigarette.

Caught off guard by his move, Aria raised an eyebrow, a mixture of surprise and amusement dancing in her gaze. "Well, aren't you charming," she remarked, her voice tinged with sarcasm, whilst checking him out.

Felix smirked, his confidence unwavering as he leaned in closer, the smoke swirling around them like a veil of mystery. "Just trying to add a little excitement to your night," he quipped, his voice low and seductive.

Despite herself, Aria couldn't help but feel a surge of attraction towards him, his boldness both unexpected and intriguing. "Well, consider me intrigued," she admitted, a playful smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

"I don't think we've had the pleasure. I'm Felix." [He puts his hand out]

"Aria," she replied, [whilst shaking his hand]. "It's nice to meet you, I was just about to head back inside, i love murder on the dance floor- it's my jam. Care to join me?" [ she takes the last bit of his cigarette and puffs it in his face]

Felix hesitates for a moment, torn between the comfort of his solitude and the allure of Aria's invitation. "I'd love to, but I think I'm stuck here for now," he admitted, [gesturing towards the girl he had been talking to earlier.]
