"My head feels like it's about to explode." Hina didn't need to open her eyes to recognize the unmistakable whining voice of Yume. She had her sunglasses on, trying to shield her eyes from the harsh sunlight, and was lounging on a sunbed beneath a wide umbrella. The regret from last night's overindulgence was hitting her hard. As she lay there, she couldn't help but replay fragments of the previous evening in her mind. Her memories were hazy at best: endless rounds of drinks until the bartender had finally chased them away, dancing with someone whose face was now a blur, and then—everything else was a fog.

"Fuck, why did I drink so much?" Yume's voice was muffled but still carried the weight of her hangover. The sun's relentless heat was not helping her condition, and it was clear that she was suffering just as much as Hina.

"I am never drinking again," Yume groaned, her tone tinged with a dramatic flair that seemed more pronounced given her current state. Hina sighed, her head pounding and her patience wearing thin. She just wanted some peace and quiet to nurse her throbbing headache.

"You'll be drinking again in a couple of hours, don't be so dramatic," Hina replied, her voice barely above a whisper. She was too tired to argue or engage in Yume's melodramatic outbursts.

Before Yume could retort, Hina felt a sudden disturbance as someone plopped down on her sunbed, nudging her legs aside. She grumbled and reluctantly opened her eyes, her gaze falling on the intruder who had managed to disrupt her much-needed tranquility.

"Not a morning person?" Hiroshi asked with a cheeky grin, his eyes sparkling with a mix of amusement and curiosity. He shrugged when Hina merely glared at him, clearly unamused by his intrusion.

"Hina!" The sudden shout made her wince, and she dropped her head back onto the sunbed with a groan. The world felt like it was spinning, and she was struggling to piece together her memories from the night before. Why did everyone suddenly want to engage with her when all she wanted was solitude to recover?

Kuina walked over to the group, pulling up a plastic chair beside Hina's sunbed with a deliberate clatter. She handed Hina a small packet of medicine and a glass of water. "Here's some medicine. Take it. You were in rough shape last night."

Hina accepted the pills and water with a grateful nod, managing a tired smile. "Thanks for helping me out last night. I'm sorry I inconvenienced you and made you miss out on your precious sleep."

"Oh, I was already asleep" Kuina said with a giggle, her eyes scanning the lively scene around them.

"What?" Hina sat up, a puzzled look crossing her face. "You were already asleep? Do you have some sort of magical senses that alerted you to my plight?"

"No magic," Kuina replied with a casual shrug. "Chishiya just came to fetch me because you were a mess."

Hina frowned, trying to recall the details of the previous night. But the more she thought about it, the more her head pounded in protest, and her attempts to remember were getting her nowhere. "I don't even remember seeing him last night."
