Yor Forger: The Assassin Who Knew Too Little

Assassin's Plead

Upon landing onboard the shrimping boat, Yor was placed aside. She frantically tried to comprehend what was happening and more importantly, what would happen to her sweet little Anya. Agent Crow told her to keep her voice down as he spoke into his ear piece, "This is Agent Crow, en route to the docks." He looked back at Yor and reported, "We have a problem, it's a Code 101841."

As the small boat traveled across the dark, windy waves, the Thorn Princess finally grew the nerves to speak up, "What's going on? Why are they attacking the nationwide event?" The spy looked back at the assassin, never realizing that she had such a weak spot. He was still in total disbelief that his so-called "back-up" was just an unsuspecting assassin.

Eventually, the boat reached the dock, Agent Crow gave her the run-down, "Ok, once we're on land, we're scheduled to meet up with Mother Goose. She'll explain everything." Yor's face brightened up, "Mother Goose sounds like such a lovely name!", hoping this mysterious stranger was as gentle and kind as she sounded.

Once sneaking off the boat and out of the docks, Crow and Yor could see a small limo pull up. Yor quietly gasped in awe, "Oh, this Mother Goose must be super rich, good for her!" Agent Crow approached a cracked window in the back, where a mysterious figure demanded him to get in the car and let the woman inside.

Yor never dreamed she would be riding a limo, but now was not the time to live out any fantasies. A tall, intimidating, yet properly dressed woman sat across from her and Agent Crow. Crow was visibly nervous as the lady chewed him out, "What were you thinking Agent Crow? Letting an outsider like her join you on your mission? We could have easily been compromised!"

Crow tried to stifle his fear, but explained himself, "My apologies sir, there was a lack of communication, I thought this was the agent you had sent." as he motioned to a dead silent Yor, confused as to what he meant by "sir". Goose grew even more frustrated, "Your real backup, Agent Raven, was caught in traffic!" This Mother Goose was not as sweet and nurturing as Yor had imagined.

Yor still had her main goal in mind, "What are those terrorists planning, and what are they going to do to those kids?" Mother Goose stopped to look at Yor, not wanting to be interrupted. Yor felt the force of Mother Goose's glare but stood her ground, "I can't let anyone lay a finger on Anya!" Goose paused, "Anya?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. The boss' demeanor seemed to shift to legitimate concern.

Yor grew furious, "Anya! She is my daughter! She has pink hair and big green eyes and loves peanuts! She is the most adorable little thing ever and now you're telling me my own child could be in grave danger right now!?"

Mother Goose sat in silence, while she never knew her own family, she understood the tight bond this lone woman had with her daughter. She didn't want another person to lose someone so close. Agent Crow was also shocked, this tall, imposing woman who just killed a man in a single blow was also a doting mother?

Goose had no idea what to do, she knew this was important to Yor, but she couldn't let some random woman join them on a top secret mission. Agent Crow spoke up, "She's the one who killed Mr. Yatabe." Goose was surprised, she had no idea somebody accidentally dragged along on a spy mission was capable of killing someone just like that, "Who...are you?" she asked in shock, "And what were you even doing there to begin with?"

The assassin sat in silence, how was she supposed to explain all this without getting in trouble? Mother Goose reassured her that her secret was safe with them, "As long as you guarantee nobody still knows we exist." The Thorn Princess regained composure and formally introduced herself, "Good evening. My name is Yor Forger...sometimes I work as an assassin on the side."
