"Wow! Can you believe this place!?" Anya's eyes sparkled as she jumped out the bus. While she ran around with her arms out and admired the beautiful city, the headmaster got everyone's attention. "Now now, students" Mr. Henderson instructed, "Stay together, we can't afford anybody getting lost." Anya and her class were ready to spend the first day of their trip in the beautiful Etallix, but with a new world can come a new set of obstacles and unbeknownst danger.

Becky was already loving the chance to finally experience a trip with such a close friend, "Isn't this amazing Anya?" she beamed. Becky had brought a little camera just for the event, and was taking pictures left and right. She took a few of Anya, who could barely keep her eyes open from excitement.

After a few more snaps, Becky placed her camera aside as she faced the canal, "Can you believe all this water runs through this city? Can you imagine what driving must be like?" Anya had an even better idea, "Why drive when you could just swim?". Becky was floored, she loved Anya's fun but peculiar way of thinking, "Oh, that's even better!" she cheered, but Damien chuckled, "Nobody swims to work here, dummy." Anya pouted at him, he was always there to shut down her brilliant ideas.

"Ok everyone, please line up in two rows, side by side." Mr. Henderson announced as he led everyone to a dock. Anya and Becky stood next to each other as the crowd settled. After a brief headcount, Mr. Henderson pulled out a large paddle, seemingly from out of nowhere. "Alright students, remember who you are standing next to. We shall be taking on the unexpecting twists, turns, and potential perils of the Etallix city canal! This will be a lesson in not only teamwork, but also the rich culture and history of Etallix!"

The class took their seats in the canoe, each getting their own paddle. Mr Henderson stood up front, his eagerness nearly rocking the little boat as the owner gripped the edge in fear. "Now Eden Academy, let us commence forth!" In unison, the children elegantly rowed their boat, with Mr. Henderson pleased at seeing his students working as a team.

Meanwhile, two individuals were wandering through the marketplace. "Now remember Agent Thorn, keep your eyes peeled. We're not here for holidaymaking" Agent Crow warned, "We never know who could be a suspect around here, or where ROWN could strike." Yor nodded, her floppy hat and sunglasses nearly obscuring her own face. As the two spies searched around, Yor could not help but notice a little bridge overlooking the canal by the dock. She remembered what they were warned about on the train, the water was fair game for a potential bombing attack.

She watched as another canoe full of students from another school paddled beneath her and to the other side of the bridge. "Wow," she sighed, "If only Anya and I could do this, I'll bet she's having so much fun with her friends from school right now." Agent Crow walked over and was intrigued, "This 'Anya', she's part of your cover, right?" Yor turned to him and was slightly taken aback, "No, not like that. I mean, I may have pretended to marry her father at first, but she's part of my life and in a way, my family. I wouldn't have it any other way."

Agent Crow sighed, he was no stranger to faking alliances for the sake of doing his job, "You know, in this field, bonding with the people you feign acquaintances with can be dangerous." Yor was confused, and a little downhearted, "What do you mean?" The professional spy continued, "What I mean is, don't play into your cover too much, which includes your quote un quote, 'husband and daughter'."

Hearing this notion stunned the Thorn Princess. She gasped at his perception and stood her ground. "But Loid loves me for who I am, and so does little Anya." she argued, "I don't know what I'd be without them." Agent Crow was still unconvinced, there was no way this spaced out killing machine was accepted by her fake family, "Are you sure about that? What about your 'husband'? What makes you so sure he feels the same way about you?"
