Yor Forger: The Assassin Who Knew Too Little

The morning sun glistened over the shimmering snow atop the slopes of Norfinden. The Thorn Princess and Agent Crow sat atop the tallest mountain. Mother Goose and Agent Hawk kept a steady watch on the two agents, along with analyzing the surrounding area for potential R.O.W.N. activity.

Yor had to ditch her usual getup in favor of something more...seasonal. "Any sign of suspicious activity?" she asked Agent Crow, who was using his binoculars to keep watch. "Nothing yet," he responded. While the conditions at the top seemed harsh, Yor had grown accustomed to the rather chilly climate. The cold never bothered her anyway.

"This is so cool!" a chipper young voice squealed. At the bottom of the mountain, Anya waddled along with her friends in snow gear. She had never seen snow before! She hopped around, leaving big footprints in the snow. Mr. Henderson was glad to see his students in a good mood, but still wanted them to represent Eden Academy and its values. "Forger, single file line please." but Anya was too busy laughing and admiring the snow. Becky had to join in, "Look Anya! I can see my breath!" as she exhaled deeply, leaving fog in the air. Anya was thrilled, "Look! I'm a chimera!" as she breathed even harder, making a growling sound to go with it.

As Anya continued along, she could feel something pelt her in the back of the head. Once turning around, Damien looked up to his left and casually whistled. Anya turned around and kept walking, before another snowball hit her. She knew what to do next, she clumped a bunch of snow together and chucked it in Damien's direction. The only problem was, she forgot the ball part of "snowball", making a huge scattered pile of snow fly in Damien's direction. Mr. Henderson cleared his throat, which was more than enough for Anya and Damien to end their little squabble.

After a while, they reached a large sled pulled by two elk. Anya gasped, this was almost something out of a fairy tale. "Alright students, four single file lines." Mr. Henderson announced before the children climbed aboard. Anya was ecstatic, "Come Becky, my dream chariot awaits!"

Back at the top of the mountain, Yor and Agent Crow kept watch. As she watched tourists skiing down the nearby slopes, Yor curiously analyzed her skis, "So," she asked inquisitively, "This is skiing?" Agent Crow kept it brief, he still had a job to do, ""Yes, remember to keep your skis far apart on the way down, otherwise you will rocket down the mountainside and probably end up in a bloody, boney wreck." The Thorn Princess then looked at her ski poles, "Do we use these weapons...for when a polar bear attacks?" Agent Crow grew slightly more irritated with his partner's inexperience, but as per his job, had to cover his emotions, "No, skiers use those for steering, just dig one into the ground corresponding with the direction you are wanting to go."

Before he could give Yor further instructions, she noticed a rather conspicuous fleet of snowmobiles, with three people completely covered up in layers of white clothing driving them. "Uh, Crow?" she murmured as she pulled his face in their direction. "Hey!" he barked, "Hands off my-" before catching a glimpse of the suspicious activity. Upon closer inspection, he could see a foreign object inside of a pack worn by one of the convoy members. "That's them!" he commanded, "Now Agent Thorn, here what we're going to do, we're going to catch up to them and-" But Yor could see the bottom of the summit several miles away, recognizing the kids onboard as Anya and her classmates. "Right!" she yelled before Agent Crow could finish.

WOOSH!!!

In a flash, Yor rocketed down the ski slope, leaving Agent Crow in her cold, powdery dust. "FORGER!" he growled before trying to catch up to her. The Thorn Princess was picking up speed, but had her goal in sight, the supposed members of R.O.W.N.
