After her last mission on the field, and her first snow skiing experience, Yor was ready to move out of the cold wintery mountains of Norfinden. She missed the air not being so thin. Their next trip first thing in the morning wasn't to be traveled by rail, but rather by bus. They were set to leave at 0530, so they had to wake up early.

As Yor tried to fall asleep, she couldn't help but remember all of Agent Crow's criticisms towards her. She kept wondering to herself, "What am I even doing here? And why am I doing this? Am I joining these agents for the world, or for Anya?"

Once she closed her eyes, Yor suddenly ended up in a dark void. A tall, dark imposing figure had Anya tied up to her right, with an entire crowd of people trapped in a cage on the left. A bunch of dark arms sprung up out of the ground and started dragging Anya and the other captives down, "Your daughter or the world?" the scary creature taunted, "Your choice..."

Yor tried to reach out, but another pair of arms grabbed her. She sliced them off but more limbs appeared, pulling her away from everyone as the darkness consumed them.

"MAMA!"

BRRT! BRRT! BRRT!

The alarm clock in their hotel room snapped Yor wide awake, the poor girl had barely gotten any sleep. "Look alive Sunshine..." Agent Crow coldly greeted as they got ready. Once dressed and packed, Yor stumbled around half awake as Agent Crow led the two, not having time for her insomniac problems. Mother Goose and Agent Hawk also met up with them at the bus stop. "Good morning you two. Well rested after your little adventure in the cold?" but all Yor could conjure up was a yawn.

Not too long after, their bus had arrived. The four took their seats in the very back, which thankfully remained empty as this was an early morning bus. Yor leaned against the window and calmly looked at the snowy mountains adorning the twisty, mountainous roads. Somehow, it all felt so magical, with the bus exhaust leaving behind a deep fog.

Mother Goose slipped a pamphlet to the two recruits and kept her voice down, "Around this time of year, Barvinich hosts its annual world renowned carnival, which the World Peace Event will be paying a visit to." Agent Crow had heard of the event, and so had Yor. She and Loid had once taken Anya to a local fair a few weeks after they had become a "family", but this was something she had never seen before. It seemed grander than the Bondman castle they had once rented, not that Yor could remember any of it due to being intoxicated.

The bus then went through a tunnel cutting into the mountains. Once on the other side, the surrounding hills had turned grassy, without even the slightest sight of snow, almost like a portal into another world. Agent Crow felt something land on his shoulder. The Thorn Princess had fallen asleep and had no choice but to use him as a pillow. Now, in a situation like this, Crow would usually shove the person aside and force them to sleep against the window, but after seeing what this woman was capable of, he valued his own life for the time being. Mother Goose secretly seemed to find the whole situation adorable, but had to keep her mouth shut to avoid stirring up the pot.

The fold out program showed pictures of friends and families laughing, enjoying food, and having fun on all the colorful rides, something that he, as an agent, had never found the time or passion to do. Being a field agent was his one self-assigned purpose in life, he had no intention or even the possibility of settling down. On top of that, he never wanted to slow down for anyone.

Nighttime fell while Anya and her friends gazed in awe. The evening carnival was incredible! Lights, rides, games, food, EVERYWHERE! It was almost a child's paradise!
