~Chilled's POV~
Unlocking the door to my house I feel as if it is much less impressive to Adam's own amazing place. Nevertheless, Adam stays patiently behind me, watching me fumble with the locks before entering the place before I even get a chance to. He enters my room and glances all around acting like a little kid at his first museum. His eyes wander all around, looking deeply into my every photograph and object on the walls and decorated on the desks. Mostly just small video game related or show related knick knacks lay around with no real place to go so they just invade the house. Adam passes me twice as he heads into different rooms completely forgetting about my literal presence right here. Sighing, I fall onto my couch and pinch at my forehead. Okay, I know I like this guy with absolute certainty now, so what the fuck am I supposed to do with him wandering around my house like this? Am I supposed to be angry or flattered? Do I make it clear to him I like him or hide it? How are these crushes supposed to exactly work again because I'm fucking confused with these feelings I have no idea how to play around with.
"Hey Chilled, you have a pretty nice place," Adam suddenly says as he returns to me in the living room. His comment makes me laugh out loud and shake my head, scratching the back of my neck and look to him very doubtful his words are actually truthful and now just knowing his house.
"Yeah fucking right. I'm going to play some games if you don't mind," I say and not expecting him to sit next to me with my laptop on his lap. Immediately I snap up and try to take him away from the laptop even if he's on the locked screen. "Hey I didn't say you can use that-" a small jingle showing he's logged on interrupts me and leaves me speechless. My password? The hint is "hated rival" fro back in the day. Alright it's Adam because I had no idea what else to do. He laughs beside me and suddenly shifts the laptop back towards me, shocking me as I look at the home screen.
"I was kidding, it's yours. No hard feelings," he urges but I just stare at the home screen for a long moment before silently shifting the laptop towards him.
"No, it's fine. You have work, right? Go ahead and use it," I mutter and he laughs his same old laugh. Peeking over to him I watch him smile as he looks through something on my laptop. He notices me staring and meets my eyes causing me to momentarily freak out and look away only to have him laugh and suddenly tackle me from behind and bringing me towards him, wrapping his arm across my chest.
"Little brat, you hate me, huh?" he says bringing me closer and closer to him as I struggle to get out of his grasp. Over his laugh I can barely hear my own sounds of resistance but in the end it's his laugh that becomes contagious. Both of us still laughing he just managed to save the laptop by leaving it in the couch as we both fall off, his big figure towering above me. He stares at me with wide eyes for a second before looking away and slowly sitting up and off of me. Just as he sits up I feel a saddening disappointment sting in my chest but I quickly push it away and sit back up as well after he gets off me. His hand holds out in front of me after he gets up and I hold his cold hand to help myself up. Looking at him I can't help the expression of disappointment on my face right now and he doesn't notice it at all.
"Sorry, I lost my balance," he mutters before taking my laptop and sitting back down how he was before, leaving me speechless and watching him. He did nothing, he has Cathy I should have suspected it but somehow I feel as if I was completely rejected. In that position it doesn't matter boy or girl it's pretty darn sexy and hard to resist, I wanted him to kiss my right then but he completely blew me off. Quickly I escape the room without saying anything and enter the kitchen feeling as if I'm having a panic attack in here. Shaking my head and slapping my face a couple of times I get myself together before grabbing a tea and hand it for him which he accepts without so much as a word why I vanished. Sitting next to him I feel like leaning onto him but he completely seems focused on the laptop he moves away from me whenever I try to see. In the end I give up and continue to play video games while wearing a frown for Adam beside me.
