~Chilled's POV~

Fucking hell it's bright in here. Rubbing my eyes I suddenly feel a throbbing pain in my head and stomach and arms and legs and basically my entire body feels like absolute shit. Even my ass, what the hell? Turning over to my side I find only the white wall and a small bedside table full with bouquets of flowers and small boxes of chocolates which I find more appealing. Glancing down to my own body under the thin white sheets I realize I'm in the hospital I'm already in so often. Did I get in trouble in another case? I feel like that's actually very likely, coming up with some sort of plan or something that would get me in trouble like always but usually Sark is cussing me out in the hospital or even if he isn't he's usually here. It's like a mental rule of his to watch over his detectives and yet I'm completely alone in here but it could be past visitor hours or something. Even then he usually says fuck the rules and comes anyways, unless it was really serious.... Something's strange, this doesn't feel right at all. This isn't the typical "in the hospital after a fuck up," otherwise there would be a lot of angry people around my bed but instead I find flowers and that sentimental kind of junk on the table beside the table. That is, unless Jess just put this all here just to make me feel better or out of concern. I should really stop worrying her with my job and stuff.

"Anthony, you're awake?" I glance up then flinch at the wave of pain sourcing from behind my head then comes through my body. Holy shit I'm hurting, especially my head and my stomach aches painfully. The bigger warm hand comes onto my forehead and I just stare at the doctor, the usual doctor who takes care of me after my usual fuck ups. "I have to ask you some of the usual questions," he says and I nod slowly, very familiar with the usual easy questions asking me my name and such. He holds up his clipboard and looks through the contents and sets it down on the table and helps me sit up, passing through the pain. Jesus even my ass hurts more than usual, I really went through some shit didn't I?

"My name is Anthony and I'm a detective," I say before he can even ask the questions and he just nods, writing something down on his clipboard. "My boss is Sark and yada yada yada, I'm still sane sir," I complain and he just frowns and writes down on his clipboard returning the positive results. What I want to know is what the hell happened to me in the first place. There are no marks on me, my skin is clean like usual but my insides are all just shaky in pain. The doctor looks through the paper before setting down the clipboard on the side and looks to me with a serious expression.

"What happened?" The doctor asks calmly leaving me to just stare at him in return and try to recall what made me like this. I don't even remember the last thing I was doing before I was transported here. My last cases were... well I remember a missing persons case, an escaped thief case, no but there was another thief case after that one. They're all scrambled up in my mind but none of them seem extremely dangerous, unless a criminal just wanted to take vengeance on the law enforcement in general by attacking me. Even if I remember who it was, how did they hurt me? There isn't any physical harm that I can see but my insides hurt greatly but is half of it from being asleep for quite a while? The doctor sighs when I apparently don't answer in time and leans back on his seat, crossing his arms looking at me. "What do you think is around the date it is today?"

"What? Well... I'm assuming I've been asleep for quite a while. But it was around... December, right?" The doctor stares at me before signing and taking his clipboard and turns on the television showing some news. All... pretty new to me.

"Several months off, do you remember this man? You were on his case," he says as the news flickers to the screen of some stranger full of black clothing. I tilt my head to the side as I stare at the man on the screen, apparently having murdered someone on his last move but before then was a thief. I shake my head, I think I would remember a guy like that being one of my cases because he looks like a pain in the ass to capture just by the look of his movements. The doctor sighs and stands up, writing something else on his clipboard before stepping the the bedside. "Seems like you got a bit of a case of amnesia. Those drugs must have messed with your mind, I need to go through with some other patients and we need to do more tests just in case something more is wrong with your head. Try to relax, you get no visitors tonight for the sake of them overwhelming you. I'll explain to your friends that they cannot approach you with new facts so strongly. I'll be back-"
