I woke up the next day with ash hugging my waist as if i was gonna run away.
I slowly and quietly got up from his grip and went outside where i saw fez on the couch,
"Morning" fez said facing me,
"Morning fez" i said walking over to the kitchen for some water, i later got a text from lexi,

I laughed at her response and shut my phone off. Fez and Lexi would be the cutest couple to EVER exist.
I walked out the kitchen and went ashs room to take my bags with me, lexis place isnt that far so i could walk,
"Hey fez, I'm finna go to lexis place" i said taking my bags out in the living room,
"Okay tell ash though, dont want him freaking out" he said seeming annoyed, i laughed before going back into ash's room.
I stared at him for a few seconds before going to kiss him on his head and lips and leaving the room. I waved bye to fez and walked out to lexis place.
........
I soon made it and knocked on her doors,
"Hey lani!!" Lexi said hugging me as i hugged her back,
"Hii! How have you been?" I asked walking into the house as she closed the door behind me,
"Good" lexi said in a cheerful tone before leading me to her bedroom where we just talked for a couple of hours.
We later heard a knock at the door and saw that cal Jacob's was at the door. He walked in and sat me, Lexi and Cassie and started questioning us,
"Do you know who beat up my son? Cause you were all there so answer truthfully" he said menacingly but he didn't intimidate me to say the least,
"No i didn't, if i did i would've told you" i said,
"Me too" Lexi said and Cassie nodded in agreement.
"I have standby chief police department so please take into consideration of what your trying to say and don't lie." He said staring down on all of us, Cassie looked at me and lexi nervously clearly scared.
......
"Why would you say that?" Lexi said to Cassie as she walked into the room,
"You heard him he was going to call the cops" Cassie said pacing back and forth around the room very tense,
"He was bluffing and you feel for it cause your a fucking idiot!" I said in a angry tone as i was indeed mad,
"Why do you care?" She said raising her voice a bit louder than before,
"Cause you just ruined someone's life for someone that doesnt even deserve to fucking live" i said raising my voice much louder while getting up, cassie and lexi both looked shocked but cassie just stormed out the room.
I was fucking frustrated cause fez was definitely going to get something worse happen yo him and ash and i really dont want that to happen.
"You must really love them" lexi said looking at me tilting her head,
"Theyre my everything. Of course i do" i said in a low tone while keeping my head down, lexi gave me a faint smile before patting my back and going after cassie outside.
......
It was a bit after and i was already home texting ash,

I shut my phone and went yo take the best fucking shower of my goddamn life.
I got out and was bored outta my mind and so i decided to go to the store since i technically work there.
....
I arrived at the store and walked in,
"Wassup k" fez said putting his hand out to dab me up,
"Hey fez" i said also having my hand out, i sprinted to the back and immediately hugged ashtray that was standing up by  his table,
"What? Dis something happen?" He said flustered,
"Nahh im just very very very tired.." i said holding him tighter than before, he didnt do anything but just let me hug him while he walked around the room.  A few seconds later fez walked into the back,
"He- oh shit my bad" he said turning around fast, I laughed as ash scoffed.
I let go of ash and went to sit on his chair,
"Continue fez" i said implying him to continue his sentence, fez hesitantly looked back at us and sighed as ash went back to working,
"Yo listen kehlani, i need your help out" he said looking at me, ashtray raised an eyebrow but quickly just shrugged it off.
I looked back at ash confused but still went outside with fez,
"What do i do?" I said to fez walking into the store from the back,
"Just sort some drinks here and ill sort some here" i nodded my head and noticed that faye was sitting on a refrigerator near,
"Het kehlani" she said waving slowly at me,
"Hii faye" i said waving back while sorting the drinks one by one.
I was drowning in my thoughts of how life was gonna end up, i love ash yes but theyre all involved with drugs and i dont wanna end up in jail but at the same time i know that damn well id kill, beat, rob ANYONE for them.
While i was overthinking like i usually do i didn't realize that someone had entered the store,
"Hey k!" Someone said behind me, i turned around and saw lexi howard,
"Hii!" I said side hugging her, i realized that fez finished first,
"Lexi howard" fez said smiling
"Hi" lexi said awkwardly cute
Lexi was about yo say something but was hesitant when she saw faye,
"Um yeah thats faye" i said explaining why she was here,
"Are you two..like..?" Lexi said skeptical, i was about to say something but fez answered for me,
"Nah she chill, she staying with me but why you here?" Fez said seemingly way more nervous than usual which was actually very obvious to tell,
"Drinks" lexi said before going to the drinks aisle, to be honest i felt so out of place and awkward so i went to the back with ash who was already staring at fez and lexi,
"Whos that?" He said as i walked in the back,
""Lexi" i said taking a mop bucket and placing it in front of the table,
"Thats Lexi? shes nice" he said lookdown at the cash he was sorting, i raised an eyebrow at him which i guess he could sense?
"Not in that way like she seems nice for fez" he said trying to explain himself, i knew he was joking but i lovee to play along.
"Mhm sure" i said jokingly, he came closer to me and pecked me,
"You know im joking"  he said looking deep into my eyes which made my knees weak (again),
"I know" i said as he sat back down and  started counting his cash again.
I smiled before getting up and going home.
