Deadlive finally managed to break free from Benjamin's torments and looked at the empty bed beside her. 'Rea', she thought with hate. She could not believe that her own daughter left her here for death. From Deadlive's perspective she thinks that she has done nothing but good to her daughter, but she doesn't realize that she's turning into her own mother. Deadlive is only afraid of what Rea can and might possibly do. Giving birth to Rea is becoming something that she's regretting.

The amount of blood that's in the room is more than one can handle. It was a mix of Benjamin and Rea's blood because of the fight they had earlier. Deadlive made her way out of the room and only noticed more signs of struggle which tells her that they had gotten into quite a big fight. Once Deadlive would be strong enough again, she'd go have a talk with that daughter of hers.

It's been a couple of days since the fight between Rea and Benjamin and she's getting back to normal. What is normal for a Moon-Deadwolf anyway, her powers have been heightened ever since she accepted the dark side of herself. She can literally hear every single thought and feel every single emotion around her and it's taking a toll on Rea. She feels more like a wolf than a human and it honestly scares her.

"How are you doing", someone asked and Rea almost had a heart attack because she was so focused on her power. She looked at Voss and it took her a few seconds to answer: "I'm better than before". He looked at her with a raised eyebrow which made Rea sigh annoyed. "You don't look better Rea. You still have your wolf teeth and your eyes have changed color. That's why the pack doctor is still monitoring you, he's not so sure how this is happening", he explained to her. The blue eyes she once had, are now dark gray with a shade of red. They've been comparing the transformation from Deadlive to hers and it's a whole different situation so they're afraid Benjamin might've done something to cause this. "This is just who I really am , Voss. The Supernatural has been evolving since it was invented, don't you think there's a possibility after generations of Deadwolves that I might be different from the others", she asked him. "We just have to make sure that it's not Benjamin's doing", Voss said noticing that she's getting frustrated. "I'm still the Upper Alpha", she said taking out the needles and getting out of the hospital bed.

She has a pack to lead and an enemy to kill. Rea is sure that her mother will come find her once she has broken free from Benjamin, so that is something she'll have to deal with as well. At this moment she is very angry, furious even because of the Alpha's that were supposed to help her. Everyone looked surprised that she was already walking around again after they heard the rumors of the big fight she had with Benjamin. She sighs before she opens her office door already knowing that someone is waiting for her inside.

"You've been lucky", Falk said watching her walk in. Rea went to sit on her chair and looked at all the letters that have come in. She always has found it stupid that the Wolves never transferred to modern technology, but she could understand why. Could you imagine if someone were to hack the system and see the weird emails about werewolf stuff, it wouldn't even take an hour or werewolf hunters would be in Varcolac. It's one of the werewolf laws to not show themselves to humans unless they have no other choice, like when you've found your soulmate. "Your mother barely made it out alive", he mentioned then and leaned against the wall. "That proves how weak she actually is", she plainly said. Deadlive is called a goddess but she doesn't seem that strong and the fact that Rea could handle Benjamin better than her was proving that. "If your mother had died then the whole world would collapse", he said trying to make her see what a catastrophe could've happened. Rea sighed and looked up to her father. "Then all of our problems would've been gone, doesn't that sound much easier instead of constantly making new kids and giving them the burdens", she asked her father and he honestly did not have an answer to that, because it was true. If Dealdive would just die then the whole world would be eliminated with everyone with it and then there's no one like Benjamin to manipulate nature. "Shouldn't you be back with Benjamin, he'll need your help", she said changing the subject. He looked for a few seconds at her but did not answer that question, he tried his best not to think about it because Rea is able to read his mind. "What is it", she asked him noticing that he was holding something back. "Benjamin used to send letters with my signature on it, so you wouldn't trust me and then he would appear as me and torment you", he explained to her. "Do you mean that he can shapeshift into others", Rea asked him , hoping it wouldn't be true. "He can", he answered. So Benjamin could just be walking beside her without her knowing it. What if he made an appearance as Voss or even her mother? "He feels threatened by you and wants to figure out what you actually are. Because your transformation is different from that of your mother and siblings."

.......

"I think you all know why I have called this meeting", Rea said as she was looking at the Alpha's who are sitting in the gathering room. At first she wouldn't call a meeting for this because she didn't think it was necessary, but then she thought about how it reflects upon her reputation if she doesn't call them on their shit. Blake rolls his eyes, he doesn't give a shit about this meeting nor the person that's leading it. "There is only one person in this room that actually came to help me at Dakota's territory. What do you have to say about that?" Rea looked at Blake since he is the one showing attitude. The other Alpha's on the other hand are awaiting what Blake has to say, so that they can say something alike. They think that if Rea doesn't get any support from the Alpha's surrounding her, that she'll eventually give up and give the role to someone else. "What difference is it going to make? Are you going to punish us because we didn't save your ass", Blake asked raising his voice. Rea gave him a book with every single law written in it. "I know that you don't care about the laws, but the others do. That's why they are anxiously waiting for what they should do, resist me or accept that I'm the Upper Alpha", she says. Blake scoffs as he read the laws: "So you're going to take away my title?" Rea shook her head and took the law book from him. "No, because I know you have your connections. Instead I'm going to cut off your supplies, all the surrounding territories will stop trading with you", Rea told him and that got his attention. He stood up in protest. "You can't cut off my supplies! I have a pack to feed", he yelled angry. "It's time you realize this Blake", Rea said as she leaned closer to him. "I am the Upper Alpha here, I can do whatever I want!"

"And let me be very clear to the others, if I find out that he does get supplies from you, then you'll share the same fate", she addressed everyone before deciding that the meeting is over. Just before Dakota left, she called him: "Dakota, can you stay for a few more minutes?"

She could feel his stress level rising as he approached her. "How's your pack doing", she asked him. "They're doing fine, they just find it weird that Benjamin is suddenly gone. And now I'm left without a pack doctor again", he answered her question, having a feeling where this conversation might lead to. "Do you realize how much worse the situation could've been", she asked calmly. It's even stressing Dakota even more that she is so calm, yet her eyes could kill him any minute. "Yes I do, and I'm sorry for not listening to your warning", he said and that's when her tone changed: "It wasn't a warning, it was an order!" It angers Rea that he actually doesn't realize at all what Benjamin is capable of, what he has been doing there that was small in comparison to what he has done in the past and what he will do now. "I do not care a thing about that Benjamin could've killed me, it's the fact that he'd use my power to get what he wants for millennia now. And like I said before, what he wants aren't rainbows and sunshine for the world." She took a deep breath to calm her heart rate. "You brought Varcolac in danger by letting Benjamin in and being brainwashed into giving him authority about your pack. That is why I have decided that I'll help you lead your pack for a while until I think you're ready to lead a pack by yourself. Everything that happens in your pack, every single detail will be reported to me and when you want to make a decision you must ask my advice first."

Dakota did not seem to like those measures and Rea took notice of it. "You can't just take over my pack", he said raising his voice, frustrated. She crossed her arms and looked with a raised eyebrow at him. "How hard is it to comprehend that I am the bigger person here? Do I honestly have to be acting like Fenrir did back in his days? Maybe I should start killing the people who disobey direct orders! The Wolves family have found Varcolac and made it into something amazing and then Alpha's like you and your allies started settling and what once was amazing is now a disaster. My family has been restoring Varcolac to what it was, and what do we get in return? Nothing! We get outcasted and disrespected", Rea says, letting out all the frustration she's been feeling the past months. Dakota is biting the inside of his cheek and barely makes eye contact with her. Every single member of the Wolves family has this in common when they are angry: whenever the dam bursts, you better run for your life or you might not make it. And the best example of this is Fenrir Wolves.

"Be glad I even let you stay Alpha, since you're not even with your real soulmate." Dakota raised its eyebrow ready to say something along the lines of: 'you don't have a soulmate as well' but because of the deadly look in Rea's eyes he decided to keep his mouth shut. "But to go back to our conversation topic: Yes I can just take over your pack."
