When Rea opened up the cell door Benjamin thought his death was neigh, but he was wrong. She took off his chains and kept a close eye on him. "I've decided to keep you alive, only so we can both achieve our goal. But it will be a hard job to trust you, so you'd help me a lot if you let me into your mind. That's the only way I'll be able to read you and know your motifs. Otherwise you'll end up dead, and trust me it'll be a very painful death", she warns Benjamin, who still can't believe that he has been set free. "And you'd agree with all my plans that I made", he asked her. He could not believe that Rea would want destruction on her territory, once Deadlive dies everything on this territory will change: the lands will be poisoned again, the packs will have to run, people might even die and then we haven't covered the fact that the border between the humans and werewolves will disappear. Rea is aware that Benjamin has sinister plans after the death of Deadlive, but what he doesn't know is that Rea will push the delete button of Earth. Benjamin won't have a playfield anymore, no more changing the laws or coming back from the dead.

This world will be lost into the universe.

......

Rea and Benjamin are going over some ideas on how to kill Deadlive as fast as they can when her mother comes in with Jeremiah. "What is he doing here " , Jeremiah asked. After all the talks she had about Benjamin being dangerous and all , he can't believe she's now working with him. "He's helping me with important matters", she answers. "Didn't we decide with the other Alpha's that we'd execute him? You insisted on killing him since he is so dangerous and now you're working with him, letting him live in our territory", he says, raising his voice. Rea bit the inside of her cheek as she looked him straight into his eyes. "There are bigger problems than Benjamin at the moment and he has the knowledge to help me get rid of those bigger problems", she explained calmly to him. She has been carrying the mark of Upper Alpha for a while now and she can feel its power within her when she's near other Alpha's, especially when Alpha's like Jeremiah think they're better than her. "Why not ask us for help", he asked and Rea raised her eyebrow. "Like you were going to help me on Dakota's territory", she asked him and he went quiet. Rea wasn't going to let it slip that they betrayed her back then, when she'll stop sending them resources they'll be right at her doorstep. "Benjamin is here and he'll be staying, I don't need your permission to work with someone."

.....

Rea walked into the kitchen to grab something to eat when Daleyza approached her. "Where's Benjamin", she asked , surprised that Rea is not keeping an eye on him. "He's in my office", Rea said, keeping eye contact with Daleyza. She knew that Daleyza was about to complain and get on her nerves, just for her soulmate. "I don't like him around here , his presence doesn't give a good vibe", Daleyza tries to hint subtly. Rea nodded slightly and then took a bite of the apple she took. Daleyza began to feel a little awkward not knowing what to say next, since Rea didn't react. Rea found this amusing, she knew that Jeremiah asked her this. "Maybe it's better if you kill him and resolve the problems with the help of your fellow Alpha's ", she said then, when Rea kept eye contact with her without saying a word she said: "At least that's what Jeremiah thinks." Rea chuckled, is Jeremiah really that naive that Rea would listen to Daleyza because she's her 'mother'? The only person she'd listen to is Shaddix, who was like a real father to her and will always be. "Jeremiah", Rea scoffed. "I don't know if you noticed Daleyza but I'm not that fond of him, so for what reason would I even consider what he thinks about all of this", she asked. Daleyza was offended that she was not called mom since she was the one taking care of her instead of Deadlive. "Would you consider my thoughts on this", Daleyza asked then and Rea shook her head as an answer. "Do you honestly all think that I would just form an alliance with Benjamin just because I wanted something, I would never bring this pack in danger. I'm still an Alpha, remember? It's not like I'm abusing the title, I'm providing for the pack. Sometimes we have to do things that we don't like , such as working with our biggest enemy", Rea said. It's not like she's super excited to work with Benjamin, she still despises him and wished she wouldn't need to work with Benjamin but it's a faster way to kill Deadlive and save this world from Benjamin.
