SIX MONTHS LATER

My hands are sweating, my legs are weak and I feel like I'm going to pass out at any moment.

"Will you calm down." My brother laughs at me, "It'll be fine, mate."

I glance at Chris before looking down at my hands and rubbing them on my pants. My suit is fitted to my body and it's a lovely three piece from Louis Vuitton. I glance at my watch and furrow my brows before looking at the people sat in front of me. My body is trembling slightly and I'm terrified that Elowyn will run away. I'm scared out of my damn mind that she'll leave me waiting for her at the altar on our wedding day, but my worries soon disappear when I hear the soft piano start to play.

I move my eyes to the end of the aisle that's covered by pink rose petals that were thrown by Chris' daughter. I glance to the front row to see Adelaide, Jenny and Arthur. Jenny hasn't stopped crying since she got here and it's definitely made me roll my eyes a few times. The only person missing, that I really want here right now is my mother. I know she'd love Elowyn as much as I do and my mother would have welcomed her to the family with open arms.

The moment I see Elowyn, I gasp, looking away and covering my mouth as I begin to cry. She looks so fucking beautiful and as I lock eyes with her, I can't look away. Chris squeezes my shoulder and gently pats my back, laughing quietly as I bite my lip, willing myself to stop crying. Elowyn's crying too, sending me a soft smile. Her hair is curled and styled perfectly. Her dress is long and lace and I can't help but run my eyes over her body. The moment she reaches me after her brother has finished walking her down the aisle, she reaches up and wipes my tears away, laughing softly as I lean into her touch. I place my hand against her tummy and smile when I feel our baby kick against my palm.

"I love you so much, Elowyn."

"I love you more."

We say our vows, promising to love each other, through everything. We make promises to love each other through sickness and in health, through he bad times and the good. I promise to love her until the day I die and swear that I'll never look at another person in the way that I look at her. She makes the same promises to me and I try my best to hold back the tears. I place the ring on her finger and she does the same, a wide smile covering our faces.

"By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss your bride."

I hold Elowyn's hand softly as I step closer to her, kissing her as deeply as I can. Her arms wrap around my neck and I smile into the kiss. The sound of our family clapping and cheering fills the room as we continue to kiss. I lift her off her feet, still kissing her before pulling away from her lips and carrying her out of the building. The photographer and videographer are capturing our moment and I smile as the photographer snaps a photo of me carrying my wife down the aisle.
