The following day, Sofia is reading a book when Bucky comes in. He comes up to her and says, "Hey, I'm going to the compound for a bit to work with Sam and Bruce. Are you gonna be okay?"
"Yeah," Sofia replied. "Becca should be here in a bit anyway."
"Okay." Bucky leans over and kisses his wife. "Love you."
"Love you too." Bucky leaves the house.
An hour later, Bucky, Sam, and Dr. Banner are looking at monitors and files. Sam says, "This is weird."
"What?" asks Bucky.
"I mean, what is it with the Power Broker coming into several of our cases? Surely there's a reason why."
"But what?" asked Dr. Banner. "I mean, the powerbroker I get is influential in Madripoor, but why does he appear in several different countries?"
"Maybe he's after something else," Bucky suggested. "Like something powerful."
"You mean like the serums?" Sam suggested.
"No, but maybe something more. Like the weapons from Aliens or Ultron."
"That would be a stretch but definitely seen as things that have been found in the black market," suggested Dr. Banner.
Sam puts the files on the table, crosses his arm, and asks, "Who the hell is this person?"
Meanwhile, Sofia put Little Steve down for a nap upstairs. She hears a knock at the door. Sofia feels slightly on edge as she feels something is wrong. She slowly heads to the front door. Before Sofia opens the door, she peeks through the peephole. She then quickly opens the door and smiles. It's Natasha. Sofia gasps, "Oh my God! It's so good to see you!"
"Hi," said Natasha. They hug.
"What are you doing here?! I thought you were on your honeymoon."
Natasha lets go and faces Sofia. "I was, but Steve got called in, so we cut it short. I was okay with it. I missed everyone too much. But Steve promised to take me on vacation to make it up."
"I'm glad. Oh, please come in." Sofia moves over and lets Natasha enter. Sofia closes the door. They head to the sofa and sit. "So, how was it?"
"It was a lot of fun. I had a great time. And Steve...man, he's something else in bed."
Sofia leans back, surprised, and smiles. "Oh really?"
"Yeah." They chuckle. "So what's new?"
"Nothing much. But now, since you're back, we should have dinner."
"That sounds like a great idea. When?"
"How about tonight?" asks Sofia.
"I'm free," replied Natasha.
"Where is Steve now?"
Back at the Avengers compound, Steve enters with a smile. Dr. Banner, Sam, and Bucky turn and smile. "No way," said Sam.
"What are you doing here?" asks Bucky. "Aren't you supposed to be on your honeymoon?"
They hug, and Steve replies, "Yeah, but uh, Fury told me about the case you guys are talking about."
"Oh." Suddenly Bucky's phone rings. He pulls it out, and the caller ID says Sofia on it. "Hang on a sec." He answers, "Hello?"
