LIBBY WHEELER WAS dying.

Her stomach hurt. And it wasn't like something she'd ever felt before. She could feel her eyes closing and the slight hand holding of her and Robin falling apart.

Libby Wheeler was dying.

And then, all of a sudden, she could breathe. She fell to the floor, her hands too weak to break her fall. She groans as she tries to use one hand to make her lead on one side. Finally, she touched her stomach and felt wetness. She brought her hands up to her face and saw her own blood. And she saw a lot of it.

"I don't believe in a higher power or divine intervention. But that was a miracle." Libby could barely hear Robin; she could barely hear the voice she loves.

"Robin..."

Robin turns at her name, turns, and sees Libby sitting on a pile of her own blood. "No...no, Libby." Robin immediately goes to Libby, sitting in front of her. Robin puts pressure on her wound and feels a hole. "What is it with you and inner-dimensional monsters taking pieces of your body?" The vine had stabbed Libby's stomach... the painful wound lays in same spot the eyes of Medusa.

"Is it bad?" The injured girl cried, closing her eyes in pain. She finally feels the pain now that she knows it's real.

"Steve! Nancy! Help. Do you have anything?" Robin turned to Steve and Nancy. Still putting pressure on the girl's wound.

Steve thought quickly and took off Nancy's ripped shirt he had on from the bats. "Here, quick." Steve hands over the shirt. His eyes widen as he sees how much blood his friend is losing. "Fuck...hurry robin." He squats down behind Libby, keeping her steady as Nancy stands in shock. She didn't know what to do, so all she did was watch. If Libby died, a piece of her would too.

"I'm trying!" Robin says as Libby's head moves to Robin's shoulder out of exhaustion. "No, no, no, stay awake for me. Please..." She quickly wraps the shirt around Libby's stomach, tightly pulling it to try and stop the bleeding as Steve lifts up Libby's head.

"It's okay, Beth..." Steve whispers into the girl's ear. Whispers into his Beth. His Beth that was drifting away. "Beth, keep your eyes open." Libby could barely hear Steve; she could hear his begging and his whispering. She knew she had to try.

As Libby opens her eye, a tear slowly falls down her cheek. Libby flinches from the pain. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." Robin whispers, her hands covered in the girl's blood.

"I'm still...connected..." she mumbles. Steve couldn't understand what the wheeler girl was trying to say. But again, Robin knew. Robin heard. Even though she could barely hear the injured girl, she heard enough to understand.

Libby had lied.

"I can't; I don't feel him anymore. like he just wanted me for shits and giggles."

She did feel him. She did.

Libby had lied.

That's why the vine had attacked her—attacked her in the one spot where her past was noticeable without having to speak with words. Vecna still had her under his fucking fingers. He knew Libby was here.

"It hurts! It hurts!" Libby cried, feeling a shock of pain.

"I know, but you gotta stand up." Robin says this with her blood-covered hands. "Steve, help."

Steve grabs one of Libby's arms. Robin does the same, still putting pressure on her wound, scared the girl she loved was gonna bleed out. "No...fuck!" Libby leaned her head back, hoping it would block out the pain.

After a few seconds, the two got Libby up, also with the help of Nancy, who was finally out of her shocked state. "Okay..." Robin whispers as Steve slowly lets go of Libby. "You're going to be okay. We're gonna get you to a hospital right after we kill this son of a bitch."

Libby nods. Hoping what she heard is what Robin said. Libby was dying. She could only see Robin and the others faintly; she could only hear loud sounds quietly. Libby Wheeler was dying. "I...I can't..." Libby closes her eyes slightly. Robin looked over at the girl. The girl she loves.

"Libby, you've got to stay awake." Robin says with watery eyes. "Just a bit longer, okay?" Robin repositions Libby, still feeling blood coming out of her stomach; the ripped shirt only worked 50%. They had to hurry.

The group walked up the stairs. Robin is holding Libby, helping the girl up the stairs one by one. It felt like slow motion to Libby. She didn't really know what was going on. It felt like she was losing her mind.

They make it up the stairs, seeing Venca, just like Dustin said, in his trance state. Steve lights his molotov, throwing it straight at Vecna.

Hot—that's what Libby felt. She didn't know if it was from blood loss or the fire. She didn't really want to think about it. "Libby?" Robin whispered, getting a quiet groan from the wheeler girl. "Try to keep your eyes on me, okay?" Robin quickly said, looking up to see Venca on fire.

He Slowly falls and looks up at the four. Slowly standing up until Robin throws another Molotov directly at Vecna. Nancy starts to walk up to him and fires her gun straight at Vecna, shooting right in the stomach. She shoots again and again. Until the final hit makes his fly out of the window, still on fire, onto the down to the upside down.

The four all leave the attic and run, except for the half-conscious Libby and Robin, who was letting the wheeler girl put all her weight into her.

They make it out side only to see nothing. Venca was gone. No, where to be seen.

They all hear a clock. The clock chimed. They go back inside, even after the silent arguments from both Libby and Robin. One physical, one vocal.

"Four chimes," Nancy says. "Max." Right after Nancy had said those words, the world once again started to skake, making Robin fall, who was holding Libby, and making her groan from the impact.

But unlike the other earthquakes, this time it happened in Hawkins as well. Not only that, but the gates from every murder site started to grow and grow until the four all connected in the center of Hawkins.

The earthquake stopped, and Robin looked down at Libby, only to see her eyes closed and her breathing slow. "Libby...Libby!" Robin cried. "Libby, please, please..."

Libby Wheeler had died...
