"DUSTIN?" EDDIE YELLS."Dustin? Can you slow down? Dustin?"
"I think we're getting close." Dustin turns to the group.
Just before Dustin could fall into the water Eddie grabs him. "Watch you step, big guy."
The rest of the group catches up to the two. "I thought these woods were familiar."
"Lovers lake... "Robin claims in a raspy voice,
"This is...confounding." Dustin whispers.
Libby looks out to the lake remembering why they were here but max beats her to it. "There's a gate in lovers lake?"
"Whenever the Demogorgon attacked, it always left an opening. Maybe Vecna's the same way." Nancy looks at Libby.
"Yeah, only one way to find out." Libby sighs back to her twin.
"I have a boat. " Eddie speaks up and pulls the tarp off the boat. "Steve, help put this on the water. "
Eddie and Steve lift the boat and move it to the lake. "Easy." Eddie roughly puts the boat down. "I said easy, man."
Nancy walks on the boat first holding out her hand for Libby.
"Yeah, I-I don't know Nance, that's a really small boat." Libby holds her cardigan over her chest.
"Seriously, Libby. It's time to get over that stupid fear of yours." Nancy snaps back for some reason.
"Spilt it up, slip it up." robin walks in front of Libby. "I'll go."Eddie and Steve hold out there hands for robin but she had other plans and uses there heads.
"You sure you don't wanna come, Beth?" Steve says again as Eddie hopps into the boat, Libby looks over at robin who was looks down at the water and shrugged.
"I'll go."
Nancy rolls her eyes knowing exactly why her sister wants to go now. "Jeez."
Libby grabbed Steves hand and sat down next to robin already holding the boat for her life.
Now Dustin tries to get on but Eddie blocks him. "Hey, hey, hey, you trying to sink us? These in holds four people tops, okay?"
Dustin didn't really look sad, just disappointed.
"It's better this way, okay? You guys stay here with Max. Keep an eye out for trouble-"
"You keep an eye out." Nancy glares at the boy. Dustin responded with a fake surprised look. "It's my goddamn theory."
