Nunew spent the whole morning reading and jotting down poetry with Zee. They were laughing and chatting as they go from one poetry to another. There are times when Zee would suddenly blush as Nunew recites a poem or when Nunew had to look away as Zee keeps on staring. It doesnt really feel like working, it felt more like hanging out (or a date? If they would only recognize it)

Zee was then called for an urgent video conference call at 1130. He excused himself and promised Nu that it would be quick.

"Its okay Hia. Im good here. Go and do your thing" Nunew smiles at Zee.

Nunew then put the poetry book down and read the novel that he was originally reading.

The cozy sofa and the quiet room made Nunew too comfortable. Him waking up too early today is taking a toll on Nunew that his eyes started to feel heavy. He tried to fight it and focused on reading, but soon enough his body gave in and he fell asleep with the book still in his hands.

Zee has been tapping his fingers on the table for a while now. The meeting has been going on for an hour now and Zee couldnt wait to get out of it. He's worried that he's making Nunew wait in his office.

Zee got too impatient now, they just keep going on circles. So Zee decided to excuse himself

"Listen, you've wasted an hour of my time by just going around in circles. Discuss it amongst yourselves and send me a report. I dont have time to deal with all of you being indecisive." Zee said before closing his laptop and walking out.

He sprint walked towards his office and he opened the door as soon as he arrived

"Nunu im -"
Zee stopped when he saw Nunew sleeping with the book on his hand.

He fell asleep
Zee said in his head as he quietly closed the door. He put his laptop back to his table and approached Nunew.

He smiled as he observes him sleep. Zee then slowly took the book from his hand and made sure to put his bookmark on the page before closing it. He then went to his shelf and took a throw blanket. He walked back to Nunew and softly covered him so he wont get cold.

Just as he was about to walk towards his desk. He heard Nunew whimper. He turned around and saw Nunew frown. He turned his head side to side as he whimpers.

"No. No. " Nunew whimpered softly.

Zee furrowed his eyebrows and sat next to Nunew

"Nunu. Nunu" Zee tried to gently wake up Nunew

"Hia. No. Help" Nunew softly cried.

Zee then touched both of Nunew's cheeks

"Nunu, open your eyes. Im here nunu. Im here" Zee said as he gently shakes Nunew.

Nunew shot his eyes wide open and gasped for air. His eyes looked frantic and he was panicking

"Nunu, hey. Nunu, look at me. Im here, you're okay. You're safe. Its just a dream." Zee softly told him as he caresses both of Nu's cheeks.

Nunew looked into Zee's brown eyes. He was trying to catch his breath. He then lunged forward and hugged Zee. He burried his head on Zee's shoulder as he tries to calm down.

Zee hugged him back tightly. He was rubbing his back in an attempt to soothe and comfort him.

"There there. Now breathe with me, slow and steady. Let's catch your breath. Its okay, you're okay" Zee told Nunew.

Nu inhaled Zee's scent and slowly calmed his breathing.

"Hia." He called for him softly

"Hmm?" Zee hummed back, not letting each other go yet.
