Thirty Eight

Nunew is inside James car seating at the passenger's seat. He is restless, always looking out the window and watching the street, looking afraid that he might miss the place he is looking for.

"Will you sit down properly?! If you move again im telling you im gonna tie you up"
Yim who is seated at the back commented.

"Yim. Shut it"
James warned Yim

He then looked at Nunew and patted his knee.

"Calm down buddy. I know where we are going"
James calmly said

"I never told you where to go, I just showed you the keys. I dont even clearly remember the way. And yet both of you know where it is"
Nunew said to them

"Because we were with you when you had that pre ordered. We were also with you when you picked that up from the smiths shop"
James told Nunew.

"You all knew but you never told me anything"
Nunew spat out.

James and Yim looked at each other.

"If we do, you'll want to chop your head off. "
Yim commented

"You werent ready Nu. You know that. We let you remember at your own pace without forcing it out of you. He wanted you to remember on your own."
James said.

"He?"
Nu looked at James

"P'Zee."
James answered

"He asked us to be patient with you. To do things at your own pace so you wont get hurt. He hates seeing you in pain but he's willing to endure everything all alone"
Yim said to Nunew making him gulp

"I can build a statue for him for being a magnanimous, his patience and understanding for you is uncomparable"
Yim continued

Nunew bites his lip and breathed deeply.

"I may have made a big mistake"
Nunew silently said and James and Yim eyed him

"What did you do?"
James asked

"Ive pushed him away. Ive told him I dont want to see him ever again out of anger"
Nunew confessed

"NUNEW CHAWARIN!"
Yim shouted making Nunew flinch.

"Shit Nu"
James just said

"Can i hit him? Let me hit him now. He deserves it."
Yim asks James as he parks the car.

"No hitting. We need to go. Lets hope he's inside"
James said as they exit the car.

They opened the door towards Zee and Nunew's unit and flashback of memories of their house hunting came running through his head. He winced as he feels his head aching but he didnt say anything.

"I dont think he's here"
Yim said as they walk to the living room.

"P'Zee?!"
James called out but nobody answered.

He looked at Nunew who is staring at the photos in the wall. Its all pictures of him. All of them taken when he is not looking.

Nunew then felt Yim patted his shoulder.

"P'Zee has this habit of taking candid photos of you. He loves taking your pictures when you're not aware that he's taking them. Now I know why he takes so much. He filled a whole wall with your face"
Yim said to Nunew.

Nu sighed. He didnt realize how much attention Zee is giving to him. How Zee's eyes are constantly on him. He has taken a lot for granted. He has pushed the man who is willing to give up everything away. He has hurt the only man he ever loved more than himself.
