Forty Five

Zee and Nunew have been planning their wedding for almost a month now. The planning was easy, both of them want an intimate wedding. Nothing grand, just them two and the people who matter to them.

They have decided the wedding at their Chiang Rai house. The ceremony would be held under the large tree that they both love and the reception would be at the field of flowers next to it.

The two were on their way to pick up their custom wedding rings. They have asked Bam and Mark to make it for them and the two happily agreed at the request.

Zee was holding Nunew's hand as he drives. Nu was mindlessly humming to the song playing in Zee's car as he browses on his phone.

Zee brought up Nunew's hand on his lips and kissed his knuckle. Nu just smiled without looking at Zee.

"Are you excited to see the rings?"
Zee asked Nunew.

Nu put his phone down and looked at Zee as he bites his lower lip.

"Im more nervous. What if it doesnt turn out great?"
Nunew answered Zee

"Im sure P'Mark and P'Bam did a great job on it. They were so excited when we pitched our idea about the rings"
Zee said to Nu.

"I know, im just worried that it would not turn out the way I wanted it to be"
Nunew sighed out.

"It'll be perfect, im sure. If not then we'll just buy a new one"
Zee reassures Nunew.

They arrived at the parking lot at the city center and they got out of the car. Nunew automatically reached for Zee's hand and entwined it with his.

They walked hand in hand towards where the shop is. It's a bit of a walk but they dont mind as the weather is really nice today.

"Have you already fitted your suit?"
Nunew asked as he sways their hands as they walk.

"Im going tomorrow. Why dont we just go together?"
Zee asked

"We cant. We're not allowed to see each other's wedding suits"
Nunew reminded Zee.

"Oh come on, that's a very old tradition. We're already in a modern century!"
Zee whined while they walk

Nunew chuckles as he pinches Zee's cheek

"I dare you to say that to our mothers"
Nunew teasingly smiled at Zee.

Zee sighed as he realizes that he already lost the battle before it can even start.

Zee opened the shop door for Nunew and let him come in first. Anna, the sales lady greeted them.

"Hi sir Nunew and sir Zee! You can sit down for a bit. Im just going to call the bosses"
Anna told them.

Zee and Nunew sat at one of the leather chesterfield couches as they wait for Bam and Mark. Nunew is nervously playing with Zee's finger while Zee just looks around.

Not too long, Bam and Mark emerged from the back room and greeted the two.

"Hey lovebirds"
Mark teased them

"Stop teasing, I bet one of them is too nervous"
Bam said to Mark.

Zee then playfully pointed at Nunew who nudged him with his elbow.

Mark and Bam both laughed at the two.

"Okay lets stop now before Nunew explodes. Are you ready to see the rings? We really had fun making them"
Mark said as Bam take out the box.

Nunew held his breath, he felt Zee entwined their hands and held his hand with both of his.

Bam opened the ring box and Nunew gasped.
