Forty Three

Zee and Nunew were sitting together as the final verdict for Sara's case is being read. They were holding each other's hand tightly as they wait for the words that they want to hear.

The trial didnt last long considering the amount of evidences they have against her. Sara's plea for insanity was also thrown out as Natalie was able to prove that Sara's actions were pre-meditated.
Both Zee and Nunew stood as witnesses as well as their friends and Zee's family too. They all recounted what had happened and how Sara targetted Nunew because of her selfishness of wanting Zee back.

Nunew inhaled deeply as they last few words are now being said.

"We find the defendant, Sara Tinsdale, Guilty on all counts"

Zee and Nunew's family, friends and coworkers who came and support the two all cheered after hearing the verdict. Nunew released the air that he was holding and faced Zee who is smiling softly at him. Zee opened his arms and Nunew hugged Zee tightly.

"Its done. It's all done"
Zee whispers into Nunew's ear.

Nunew rubs Zee's back. He knows how everything that has happened has been pulling him down. Nunew knows how Zee is still blaming himself for everything and hearing the guilty verdict was like the shackles being removed from Zee's feet.

Nunew felt Zee hug him tighter and his shoulder started getting wet. Zee's crying from the relief that he is now feeling.

"Its okay. Its all gonna be okay now hia. Everything's gonna be okay"
Nunew reassures Zee.

"You're free. You're not the one guilty. We are free"
Nu said to him

Zee breathed in deeply and tucked his head into Nunew's neck. Nu hugged him tightly.

"It's all over hia. The nightmare is over"
Nunew whispers to Zee.

Zee released Nunew from his hug and looked cradled his face. Nunew reached for Zee's cheeks too as he wipes away his tears.

"I love you Zee Pruk"
Nunew tells Zee with a soft smile on his face.

"I love you Nunew"
Zee said back to Nunew before he gently kissed his lips.

Nunew found himself in a vast field of small white daisies. In the middle of it is the large tree that he has grown to love to see in his dreams. Its been a while since Nunew dreamt about his memories again, this time he wasnt confused. This time he is smiling widely as he looks around. The sun is shining brightly, the wind is gently blowing cool wind and the flowers seem to be dancing as they sway with the wind.

Young Zee pruk is sitting on the swing all by himself. He is enjoying a nice time swinging back and forth. Nunew can see his younger self sitting along with the flowers. He was busy picking them. When he thought he has had enough, he stood up and put the flowers behind his back and walked towards the tree.

Zee stopped swinging when he saw Nunew coming towards him. The younger boy is smiling ear to ear as he stops in front of the older one.

"Hia, this is for you! I picked the best ones just for you!"
Nunew grinned as he takes the flowers out of his back.

"You picked the best flowers for me?"
Zee asked

"Yep!"
Nunew smiled wide. He then knelt down on one knee making Zee look confused.

"Hia, will you marry me? They said people will be together forever when they marry each other. So will you marry me?"
Nunew asked innocently as he looks proud of himself.

Zee giggled at the sillyness of Nunew's actions but he doesnt want to burst the younger one's bubble.

"But Nu, arent we too young to get married?"
Zee asked as he help Nunew stand up.
