Thirty Four

"We're what?!"
Nunew's eyes widened at Zee as he exclaimed

Zee chuckled as he drives.

"I said Im taking you out on a date"
Zee confidently said.

"But...."
Nunew looked confused

"But what?"
Zee asked

But we're not dating
Nunew's brain says to him

Zee looked at him and smirked

"Cant two consenting adult men go on a date?"
Zee raised an eyebrow at him as he pulls up at a big arcade center.

"Consenting? When have you asked me out on a date?"
Nunew asked him.

Zee looked at Nunew after parking.
He has a somewhat giddy but serious expression on his face.
He looked at Nunew and straight in the eye as he asks him

"Would you like to go out with me Nunew? Would you go out on a date with me?"

Nunew slowly gave him a smile.
"We're already here, might as well go."
Nu said jokingly.

Zee acted like he is putting on his seatbelt again
"I can just drive you back home if you want"
Zee told him

Nunew giggled, he grabbed Zee's arm.
"No phi, im just joking"

Nunew smiled brightly at Zee.
"I would love to"
He said to Zee immediately beamed at him

The two entered the arcade and Nunew's eyes widened at the massive establishment.
It has everything.

It has all the arcade games you can think of, it has a bowling area, it has a cinema at the top and it even has its own vintage style diner restaurant.

"Do you like it?"
Zee asked.

Nunew nodded in excitement.
"Its so cool! Everything is in here!"

"They have a rollerskating rink at the basement too"
Zee told him.

"They do?! We should definitely try that!"
Nunew excitedly said.

Zee giggled as he watches Nunew bounce like a kid.

"So what do you want to do first?"
Zee asked him

"Let's do the arcade first!"
Nunew excitedly said.

Zee laughed at him softly and they went towards the arcade. Its a bit busy as its friday so the que to get tokens is quite long. Zee and Nunew lined up and waited for their turn.

The two were standing side by side as Nunew looks around, being mesmerized by everything. Zee just looks at Nunew and shakes his head.
Zee felt their hands brushed against each other. He looked down on their hands which Nunew either doesnt mind or just didnt notice.

Zee tried to test how much he can push Nunew so he brushed his pinky finger with Nunew's. He observed Nunew in the corner of his eye as he faces forward.

Nunew felt the brush of Zee's hand on his finger. He blushed but chose not to look at Zee as it would only result to him blushing harder so he just bit his inner cheek as he looks around.
After a bit, he felt Zee's little finger hooking into his. He looked at their hands and then to Zee who pretends nothing is happening. They hands stayed like that until its their turn to buy tokens.

Nunew let Zee pay for them and after getting a full bag filled, they walked towards the games area. They were browsing casually on what to play when Nunew suprised Zee as he grabs his free hand and laced their fingers together.

"Phi if you wanted to hold my hand, just do it. We dont have to act like teenagers. Arent we two consenting adults on a date?"
Nunew winked at Zee.

Zee beamed like a light bulb at Nunew. He looks like a giddy teenager which made Nunew giggle.
