Twenty Six

"Foie, you can keep this. Or you can throw it away for all I care"

Zee said as he takes out the bouquet from Sara.

He came back to his office and found Nunew sitting in his nook. Zee sat infront of him and leaned his head on Nu's shoulder.

"Hia?" Nu said as he rubs his back.

"I dont want you to worry" Zee whispered.

Nunew smiled.
Yes he is already worried. Zee's ex is back and it seems like she wants to be a part of his life again. But seeing how much more Zee is worried about what he will think makes his worries seem to be too small.

"Hia, can you look at me?"
Nunew said and Zee lifted his head up revealing his sad eyes.

"Do you still love her?"
Nu frankly asked

"No"
Zee immediately said as he looks straight into Nu's eyes.

"Do you love me?"
Nunew asked him again

"More than you'll ever know"
Zee honestly told Nunew.

Nunew then gave him a sweet soft smile.

"Then that's all I need to know. I trust you Hia. I trust that you wont break your promises to me" Nunew held Zee's hand.

"I love you Hia. And aa long as you love me too, i will never let go of your hand again"
Nunew said to Zee

Zee then leaned in and kissed Nunew's forehead

"I love you and only you. And I will do everything in my power to prove that to you every single day."
Zee told Nunew

"Thats all I needed to hear. We are okay. I am okay hia"
Nunew smiled before kissing Zee's lips.

Well Nunew is not really okay. He thought he was. He tried to be. But the fear of losing Zee is eating him. He pretended that he's not affected by Sara's bold action. He tried to push the jealousy and fear down but his brain wouldnt let him.

Nunew opened his eyes and saw the dark room. He felt Zee's hand around him and he sighed.

It was another dream
Nunew told himself as he puts his hand over his racing heart

Its been a while since I had them
Nu deep breathed as e calms himself.

He looked at the clock and saw that its only 3am. He knew he wouldnt be able to sleep more so he slowly got out of Zee's embrace and quietly went out of the room.

He made himself some tea and went to sit on the floor next to the large window. He looks out to the twinkling lights of the streets of Bangkok as he sips his tea.

His thoughts keep on coming back to Sara. After all those years, why did she chose to come back now? She knows they are together so what does she really want? To get Zee back?

Nunew put the cup of tea down on the floor and hugged his knees and rested his head on top of them. He sighed.

I really shouldnt be thinking like this. I said im not worried. That I trust him. So why am I being like this?
Nunew said in his head

Nunew was so lost in his thoughts that he didnt notice Zee come out of the room. He woke up and noticed that Nunew isnt next to him so he came to find him. He walked to the living room and saw Nunew curled into a ball, hugging his legs.

Zee sighed and shakes his head. He took one of the blankets and walked towards Nu.

Nu was staring into the busy Bangkok streets when he felt a blanket being wrapped around him. He looked up and saw Zee.
