Ina's POV

"Ina?Ina!"

I stopped walking and clenched my fists. 'What does he want now?'

"Hey,wait up!"

Mateo caught up to me and placed his right hand onto a nearby locker and his left on his hips.He was slightly out of breath.But I admit,slightly out of breath was an understatement.He was panting.

"Did you....did you ran all the way to wherever you were to me..?" I asked.

He held a finger up and quickly re-composed himself. "Sorry 'bout that...and yea,I did." He flashed me a quick smile before frowning to himself.

"W-well.....what is it?" I urged

"I just....wantedtosaysorry." He rushed out

"What?" Now it was my turn to frown. "You spoke too fast."

"Sorry. For, er... everything.For judging you.For everything I did and said."

"Oh...Oh... well..it's ok,I guess..."

He looked at me under his eyelashes.

'He sure does have long eyelashes...'

"You sure? Okay how about this.....I'll buy you dinner or something and then maybe after that I'll- "

"D-date?"

"What? Oh,I mean...only if you want to...? I mean,I guess but..." He trailed off, rubbing his neck and looking away.

"I've never been on one..." I flushed. 'Oh my goodness...this is so embarrasing!'

"Well,I have to ask my parents first since I'm still living with them and well...yea..." Suddenly the ground looks interesting.. 'Hold up,is that blood?'

"Well I don't mind...Just give me a call or text me if you've ask them already, yea? See you soon."

He walked away quickly,obviously weirded out by yours truly...I mean he's The Mateo! Who's he to ask a girl out...on a date?

"Oh sure okay..." I watched as his retreating figure gets smaller before I remembered an inportant detail. "Hey wait! I don't have your number!"
