Chapter 3

All too soon,lunch time came.Ina put her books in her locker.She tried to stalled herself by reading posters and talking to a teacher or two.But she knew she musn't upset the girl.Ina still didn't know her name.She made a mental note to ask.

Pushing the cafeteria doors,Ina searched for the girl.A waving hand and a voice calling her name got her attention.She made her way towards the table and sat down beside the girl.

"I forgot to introduce myself!Haha,silly me!The name's Laila!"The girl finally introducted herself. "Guys,this is Ina."

Ina gave a shy smile and a small wave.

"Awwhh,she's shy!"A girl with red hair and a big bow gushed.

"Sweet!A new face, finally!"A guy with a big voice boomed.

"Nice shoes,girlie.."A girl wearing a red t-shirt smiled. "Finally,a person with a good sense of fashion!"

"Okay,so..introduced yourself guys!"said Laila

"I'm Ariel!"The red-haired girl smiled."I love Ariel,that's why I dyed my hair red.People even said I look like her!"

"She does!"The guy said "I'm Alex!The handsome one here!"

"Just because you're the only guy sitting here doesn't mean you're handsome!"The girl wearing the red tee joked."I'm Hayley,nice to meet you!It's nice to meet someone who has a good sense of fashion."

"T-thank you.." Ina started to shift onto one foot to the next.

"Well,what are you waiting for hunny?Sit,sit!"

Laila pointed out the Jocks,The Nerds,The Plastics/Barbies/Wannabes,The Losers,The Emos and The Religious.

The typical student body.

Laila told her they were The Normals.A group stuck(or mixed!) between the Dorks and The Losers.Ina didn't mind being friends with them.In fact,she loved being with them.They seemed to like and accept her.Again,finally.

"W-who's that?"Ina pointed to guy who just entered.He was wearing a leather jacket with a tight grey shirt.So tight if you stare long enough,maybe,you'll see his abs.

"Who?Oh..that guy..his name is Mateo.Mateo Arias."

'Mateo Arias..Spanish?'

"Is he..?"

"Spanish?Yup.He is.."
