Chapter 19

Third person's POV 

Both the girls turned their heads towards Manny.Ina briefly looked over to Ariel.She had a head tilted to one side and her face held a questioning look.Manny lightly squeezed his hands and took a deep breath.His eyes,which seem to be focused on Ariel,held an emotion.As soon as he reached Ariel,he held out the rose in his hand and smile nervously.

"Ari..I wanted to say..that I um..I..Well,you see.."

"Yes,Manny?"

Ina met Manny's eyes and gave him an encouraging nod.Even though she didn't know him long enough,she could tell that he really likes Ariel. 'I suppose it would be nice for Ariel to have a guy who cares a lot for her..And besides...free drinks!'

Manny's smile slightly widened at the enocourgement.He calmed himself for he was shaking and looked at Ariel once more.

"Would-You-Like-To-Be-My-Girlfriend?" He blurt out before cringing at himself and looking away.

Ariel looked at him and blushed.

"Awww!"

Suprised,she looked around.She didn't notice that the staff and the tables nearby were watching them.Ariel gently put her hand over Manny's.Manny looked at their hands with widened eyes before looking at Ariel.

Slowly but surely,Ariel nodded and said, "Do you really think I'd fall for that,Mr Augus?"

'Wait...What?!'

"Aw man!I almost got you!"

"Almost is never enough,Manny!"Ariel sang

"Ugh,how did you know?!"

"I have my way,Mr Augus...I also,apparently know people..And their..deep dark secrets but that doesnt matter!What does matter is,you will never ever ever get me.Ever."

Ina stared at them for a moment.What in the world is happening here?Ariel laughed as she took in her friend's shocked face.

She leaned over and whispered, "Don't worry,this is normal for us." Ariel giggled

Ina nodded slowly and blink several times.She got up and looked at Ariel.

"Well...I guess that it's time for us to go..See ya Manny!"

Ariel gave him a flying kiss and walked towards the door.As for Manny,well..he had reached the counter,caught the kiss and placed it on his left breast before he swoon.All that in a mocking matter,that is.
