Chapter 18

Ariel's point of view (POV)

I pushed the door to MirShal's cafe open.It was slightly crowded but I knew the crowed would disperse soon.How do I know,you ask?That's cause I'm a regular customer here..The coffee is just so...wow,I can't even.Anyways,i stood in a corner and took a look around.This place really need a makeover.Tables are too small..Chairs are all to noisy and the walls need to to covered up.Hmm..Maybe I can suggest a makeover?Oh well..

I then took a look at the workers there..their uniforms are so,like 5 years ago.I scanned around again and spotted a familiar face.Ina?What is she doing here?She was sitting with this woman with awesome fashion sense.Wait a minute..Awesome fashion sense?I shifted myself so that i can get a better view of her face.Button nose..cat-like eyes..and ruby lips..No way,no effin' way..Madame Diana?What is she doing here?In this kind of cafe?This must be a dream.I looked over to  Ina.Her mouth was slightly open and her eyes were blinking rapidly,as if seeing someone so unrealistic.I mean,if I were there I'd do the same thing.too. Then,she started to slowly nod and saying 'yes' a couple of times.But it seemed like she was unsure.Ina laughed shakily and thanked her.Huh?Thanked her?

I forcingly tore my gaze away from the duo and placed it on the counter,which finally empty,thank God.I walked over and grinned.I wanted ordered my regular coffee milkshake.It may sound disgusting to you but hey it is good.

"Sup little red!" A pair of brown eyes peeped from the corner.

"Morning,Manny!" I replied.

He came out and walked over to me."The usual?"

I nodded and smiled up at him."Thanks,man."

While he was making my drink,he asked me a few questions.

"Hey red?"

"Yea?"

"Why don't you have a boyfriend yet?"

"'Cause I'm not allowed to date.Why do you ask?Why don't you have a girlfriend?"

"'Cause you're not allowed to have a boyfriend yet."

"Oh Manny!"I laughed and shook my head.Typical of him to say that or even ask.He gave me my drink.Taking a sip,I payed for the drink.

Third peron's POV 

"Good,good."Madame Diana laughed "I'm glad that you have agreed.But in case your parents are cautious,they can visit and take a look around at where you're working."

"When can I start?What do I wear?Where is this place?"

"Woah..slow down,darlin' !You can start on Monday..?After school,maybe?You can wear a simple blouse and jeans.You can ask your friend over there where you'll be working.I have to go now,love."

Ina stood and held out her hand.Madame Diana stood and pulled her in for a hug.

"Hey!"Ariel stood over Ina

"Ariel!What are you doing here?Come,sit,sit."

Ariel smiled and sat."So..care to tell me what was Madame Diana was doing here?"

"You know her?How come you didn't tell me?"

"Love,you didn't even ask."

"Well..she offered me a job but I don't know where the place is.."

"She offered you a job?!Woah..haha I guess I could show you..tomorrow?"

"Sounds great.Wait,why is that guy staring at you?"

"What?Oh that's just Manny..You think he likes me?"

"Yes..It's so obvious."

The two girls chatted for half an hour before Ina noticed Manny walking over with a rose.

"Errr..Ariel?"

"Yea?"

Ina nodded towards Manny and giggled.

"Oh Manny."
