Sying approached the Cavalry Captain who was waiting outside the Temple of the Wolf. Kaeya seemed surprised that Sying came alone.

"You've arrived. Where's Aether?" Kaeya wondered.

"We split up. He's with Amber." Sying replied. Kaeya nodded in understanding. The duo entered the Temple of the Wolf, ready to fight whatever stood in the way.

"Let me show you how the Knights of Favonius conquer our adversaries." Kaeya declared and ran ahead of Sying. The Cavalry Captain pointed to a floating piece of land in the distance. "Hmm. If I'm not mistaken, the end of the temple should be up there."

"Got it." Sying said. The adeptus noticed three hilichurls below them. Kaeya followed Sying's gaze and jumped down to battle the hilichurls. Sying followed him but stayed away from the fight. Kaeya froze them before finishing them off with his sword.

"Sying... unless I'm mistaken the earring you wear is a Nova Vision. And according to Amber, you also carry a sword. How come you didn't fight?" Kaeya asked.

"I prefer to avoid fighting hilichurls." Sying responded, as the door in front of them opened up. The next challenge in front of the two boys were flamethrower machines in front of the way forward. Sying activated his Vision, allowing his hand to be covered in Nova. He shot the Nova energy at the flamethrowers, destroying them completely. Since Nova was such a unique element, Sying could control whether it appeared as ice-cold flames or burning ice. Kaeya took the lead once more and the duo came to a wind current. They activated their Wind Gliders and rode the current to the next door. Once open, the door revealed a piece of Hydro Amber in the center of a room with a large Pyro slime. Sying summoned his sword and smashed the Hydro Amber to pieces, making water splash onto the Pyro slime. Kaeya then froze the slime and sliced it until there was nothing left. The next challenge was crossing a waterway with spikes underneath the water. Kaeya was able to icebridge them across without any issues. Finally, the duo reached the last room with a glowing wind stone in it.

"Let's deal with this." Kaeya decided. Sying infused his sword with Nova and cut the stone in half, breaking it.

"Look at you Alberich, bossing your superior around." Sying teased.

"My superior?" Kaeya echoed. The Cavalry Captain looked at the Nova Vision earring, and then at Sying's fierce star shaped yellow eyes. Kaeya gasped and gave a Khaenri'ahn salute to the Archon in front of him. "Lord Astral! Forgive me, I didn't recognize you. I was told..." Kaeya exclaimed, but stopped when Sying gave the Khaenri'ahn a pat on the head.

"Don't worry about it. I was just teasing." Sying reassured the Cavalry Captain.

"I see. If you've returned, does that mean you plan on rebuilding our homeland?" Kaeya asked.

"Yes. That's the plan anyway. I hope, when the time comes, you'll join me." The Nova Archon admitted.

"I would follow you to the ends of Teyvat, Lord Astral."

Sying and Aether met up with Lisa in front of the third Temple. Both boys had been dreading their second encounter with the Electro Vision Librarian.

"Hey cuties. You're going to help me out too? How kind of you. Don't hesitate to come to me if you need anything." Lisa told the two travelers. Aether and Sying gave each other a glance.

"What kind of things does a librarian do?" Aether wondered. Lisa looked at him with a smile.

"Good question. Basically, things other than that which require brawn... or brains." Lisa answered.

"So... what does that leave?" Sying questioned. Lisa didn't answer as they entered the Temple of the Lion. "Basically, she called herself weak and stupid." Sying whispered to Aether.

"That's mean." Aether whispered back as Sying chuckled to himself.

"I knew it. There is strong elemental energy coming from deep within this temple." Lisa said as the two boys followed her up a nearby wind current. The trio walked through a hallway with a Pyro slime in it which was quickly taken care of by Aether. The hall led them to a room with a stone pedestal with the Electro symbol on it.

"What is that?" Aether asked.

"It's an Electro Monument. It can only be activated by people with Electro Visions." Sying explained.

"That's correct. Stand back, sweeties." Lisa said before applying Electro to the Monument. Five Pyro slimes appeared before the trio. Lisa caused an overload reaction, while Aether used gust surge to get all the slimes in one spot. Once the Anemo tornado disappeared, Sying was able to finish off the slimes with a few sword slashes. The door to the right of the trio opened up to reveal three hilichurls in some shallow water. Sying and Aether watched as Lisa electrocuted the creatures to death. Then, they rode another wind current to another room with some hilichurls, but this time there was also a large Hydro slime. Sying jumped down with his Nova infused sword and froze the slime in burning frost. The slime was cut to pieces as Aether and Lisa took care of the hilichurls. Once they had taken care of the monsters, another door opened and the trio walked onto a floating platform.

"Lisa, what is that gem on your neck? I meant to ask Mr. Sying about his earring earlier, but kinda forgot to." Aether stated as he held onto the back of Sying's coat.

"Oh, you want to know more about this gem? You're kidding? You're seriously asking?" Lisa asked in shock. Aether nodded. "This is a Vision. It's used by the chosen to draw on elemental power. Visions can have one of the eight elements. As you can see, I have an Electro Vision, while your travel partner here has a Nova Vision." Lisa informed the outlander.

"I get it now. I've never seen a Vision before." Aether said.

"What? You've never seen a Vision? Just where exactly are you from? Are you a hilichurl with some level of reasonable intelligence?" Lisa wondered.

"I can assure you that he has no ounce of hilichurl inside his short body." Sying replied with a smirk. Aether sighed.

"I'm not that short." The traveler muttered.

"True. After all, hilichurls aren't exactly known for their smarts. And Aether, you'd more or less qualify to be a magister's apprentice." Lisa continued as the trio reached the final room with the glowing wind stone. "Break it and we can head home and relax." Sying and Aether destroyed the stone and the trio began the journey back to Mondstadt. "Dragon of the East, Lion of the South, Wolf of the North, Falcon of the West... They are the Four Winds of Mondstadt, affiliated with Barbatos, the god of Anemo. The Dragon of the East: Stormterror's real name, is Dvalin. Though most in Mondstadt seem to have forgotten that in all this "Stormterror" business. So now you both know why Dvalin is only able to channel three of the Four Winds' power. Because it has been consuming itself from the beginning."

"Why?" Aether questioned.

"Because of hatred, I presume. Hatred for Mondstadt. Hatred drove it to become something more powerful than the wind itself, to become Stormterror." Sying sighed, crossing his arms.

"But why would one of the Four Winds hate the city it was supposed to protect?" Aether wondered. Lisa shrugged her shoulders and Sying stayed quiet, lost in his own thoughts. When the trio returned to the City of Freedom, the sky was back to normal and the citizens were outside enjoying themselves once again. Good. Mondstadt was safe for now.
