A few weeks passed after the samsara incident, and Collei was doing a lot better. Whatever miracle that happened, was also healing the girl so she could continue living in Teyvat with her father. The trio met up with Nahida, who possessed Katheryne's body, to figure out their next move. They needed to confront the Akademiya about the Sabseruz Festival disaster. Collei said that the Fatui were probably behind it, so Sying suggested they find a way to convince a scholar to let them inside or give them information. Nahida helped Aether possess a few people to convince a scholar named Setaria to give them information later that night. So, the group of travelers met up with Kusanali near the Adventurers' Guild. Aether noticed that it was strangely quiet while they headed over. When they arrived, a large crowd of people was lined up at the entrance cheering and clapping. Collei immediately hid behind Sying, grabbing the back of his jacket. Meanwhile, Sying was feeling uneasy with the amount of people there, and if they got any closer, he'd start feeling claustrophobic.
"What's wrong, kid?" Sying asked.
"He's here." She whispered. The adeptus summoned his sword, causing Aether to do the same. They looked up at the entrance once more, to find a blue haired man in a mask. The Second Harbinger, Il Dottore.
"What are all these people doing here at this hour of the night?" Aether wondered.
"They're probably part of his plan." Collei whispered.
"Ah, the triumphant hero returns at last." Dottore stated, walking down the pathway a little, making Collei flinch. Sying gave the Harbinger a sharp glare as Nahida stepped forward. "And to a rather spectacular welcome, even if I do say so myself."
"You're the outcast, expelled from the Akademiya." The Dendro Archon realized.
"Indeed, I am, although these days they tend to call me: The Doctor." Dottore corrected her, looking at the group of travelers standing before him. A small smile appeared on his face as his gaze passed over Sying. "If you're looking for your researcher friend, she has already been taken into confinement. With some basic caution, she could have discovered the listening device on her person. Clearly, she lacks the degree of rigor expected of a true scholar."
"What did you do to the people of Sumeru City?" Sying growled.
"I simply made some minor adjustments to their Akasha Terminals. Now they can deposit information directly into the subconscious. As you can see, all these lovely people now believe–" Dottore's sentence was cut off by a flash of light blue energy as something collided with the Harbinger. When the dust cleared, Dottore was shown to be blocking an attack with his arm. Two swords infused with Cryo were being wielded by Luna, Aether's sister. "Hello, little one."
"Oh, shut up!" Luna yelled, landing on the ground nearby.
"I don't see any reason for you to attack me, so are you trying to disobey the Tsaritsa's orders?" Dottore asked.
"Of course not, but using Ku–" The girl began to shout at him some more, when the Second Harbinger appeared in front of her and kicked her away. Her swords slid away with a clang as she landed in front of Nahida.
"It appears you're more troublesome than I thought. I can't have you giving away my plan, little Eighth." The Doctor smirked.
"Your plan is messed up!" Luna retorted, creating a sword made purely of Cryo and swinging it at him. He stepped off to the side, and shot a beam of blue light, knocking the girl into Aether.
"Luna, are you alright?" He asked. She got up slowly and shook her head as the crowd of people began to close in around the group.
"My experiment is a success, even with the added disturbance." Dottore smiled.
