Adishh pov.
It was a day beyond the realms of belief, a moment etched in the stars. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine orchestrating such a dreamlike proposal for the one who holds my heart, the one for whom my soul harbors an indescribable affection. When she whispered 'yes,' the world around us seemed to pause, and I was enveloped in a euphoria so profound, it felt as if I had conquered the universe itself. In that instance, I realized I had secured a future brighter than any I could have ever imagined. Adhya, the embodiment of my every dream, was now mine for all eternity. With a heart overflowing with blissful memories and a mind swirling with thoughts of our future, I surrendered to the night's embrace, eagerly awaiting the sweet solace of dreams where Adhya and I would wander in endless gardens of love.
The dawn of a new day brought with it a different Adhya, her silence woven with shy blushes, her words hesitant, as if she was navigating the newfound territory of our love. Eager to bridge the gap her reticence had created, I ventured a playful jest to stir the air between us.
"You know, I do have a girlfriend, but to my dismay, she's taken a vow of silence. Perhaps, I should seek a new girlfriend, one who radiates the familiar warmth and spirit of Adhya."
Her response came swift, laced with teasing, "Oh, so you're ready to call it quits just after a day, are you?"
Her playful skepticism was a balm to my worries. "In love, there's no such thing as an end, Adhya. Let there never be a shadow of doubt about that," I replied, my words steeped in conviction.
Her jesting took another turn, feigning concern over the absence of my ring, "I see, so quickly the ring is gone. Have you misplaced it already?"
"I have an operation today, so rather than removing it, I turned it into a pendant," I explained, revealing the ring now suspended gracefully on a gold chain around my neck.
Her reaction was tender, a blend of affection and amusement, as she playfully tugged at my cheek. "So sweet of you, Adi," she said, her voice soft, her touch lighter than air, sparking a warmth that made my cheeks flush with a rosy tint.
Before we could step out, Trishul greeted us with a vibrant bouquet, his presence a testament to the joy our relationship had sparked.
"My girl and boy are finally together," he exclaimed, enveloping both of us in a warm, enthusiastic hug. As we stepped back, his smile was infectious, "So, when's the wedding? I can't wait for it!" His words were sealed with a kiss on my cheek, leaving an echo of familial warmth.
Just then, Gowtham arrived in the parking area, his curiosity piqued by the scene before him. "Is someone celebrating a birthday, or is there another occasion?" he inquired, scanning the area for clues.
"No, bro, we're celebrating love. The hospital has a new couple," Trishul declared, nodding towards Adhya and me with a grin.
"Congratulations, Adhya and Dr. Adishh," Gowtham said, his smile genuine and full of goodwill.
Adhya leaned in, whispering, "See, you were simply jealous of Gowtham, but all he wanted was to foster friendship."
I couldn't help but retort, "Whatever the case, the important thing is I proposed, and I couldn't have waited any longer."
"For what?" she asked, a bit louder this time, feigning innocence.
"Dirty mind, for your love," I teased, tapping her on the head lightly.
"Ouch, Adi, that hurts," she complained, rubbing the spot where my fingers had playfully knocked.

Adhya pov.
In the midst of a group meeting, amidst the usual drone of discussions and the looming presence of Dr. Krishnan's stringent oversight, my phone vibrated discreetly under the table. Seeking a brief respite from the potential drama, I subtly checked the message while taking a sip of water.
The screen lit up with unexpected words from Adishh, "What about tonight? Date, babe." The surprise was such that I choked on the water, coughing violently as the words danced mockingly before my eyes.
Dr. Krishnan's sharp gaze cut through my flustered state, his voice dripping with disapproval. "Can't you even manage to drink water properly?" he chided, giving me a look that could only be described as lethal.
Scrambling to regain some semblance of composure, I straightened up in my chair, managing a weak, "Sorry, sir, sudden cough," hoping the excuse would suffice.
"Fine, but try to concentrate on the meeting, will you?" he retorted, barely concealing his irritation.
As the meeting droned on, another vibration signaled a new message. This time, however, I didn't dare to glance down. The mere thought of stirring Dr. Krishnan's wrath further kept me from even contemplating another peek.
After the meeting finally came to a close, I eagerly retrieved my phone, my thoughts still lingering on Adishh's unexpected message. There it was, another message waiting, teasing in its simplicity: "Seems like my baby is busy."
With a mixture of excitement and a hint of nerves, I dialed Adishh's number, my heart racing with each ring.
"Are you drunk?" was the first thing I asked, half-joking, still baffled by his bold text.
"Nope," came his immediate, amused response.
"Then did Trishul use your phone?" I tried again, fishing for some logical explanation.
"No, he's busy today."
"So, what was that message about?" I pressed, my voice faltering ever so slightly, revealing the blush I could feel spreading across my cheeks.
"I was inviting my girlfriend for a dinner date," he said, his voice warm and filled with an affection that made my heart flutter.
"But those words..." I stammered, unable to hide the blush that his boldness had brought to my face.
"Which words, babe?" he teased, drawing the moment out, basking in the evident effect he had on me.
"Nothing, forget it," I muttered, overwhelmed by the flurry of emotions his teasing elicited.
"So, what's your answer for the date?" His voice was soft, laced with anticipation.
"I will," I managed to say, the words barely a whisper, before hastily hanging up the call, my heart too full, my cheeks too warm, and my mind racing with the promise of the evening ahead. In that moment, despite the distance of the call, I felt closer to Adishh than ever, enveloped in a bubble of excitement and romance, eagerly anticipating the magic that awaited us.
