Adhya’s POV:
Three days had passed in a blur of rituals, blessings, and family gatherings. The wedding had been a beautiful, exhausting affair, and as much as I cherished every moment, I was ready to settle into our new life together. It was time to head back to Bangalore, to our new apartment, and resume our work.
“Everything packed?” Adishh asked, peeking into the room.
“Almost,” I replied, folding the last of our clothes. “I can’t believe we’re finally going to start our life together in Bangalore.”
He smiled, coming over to help me. “Yeah, it’s been a long time coming. But before anything else, I have my tasks laid out by my beautiful wife. Forgiveness is a big one, and I know I have to work hard on it.”
I gave him a teasing smile. “You better. But I’m sure you’ll manage.”
As we finished packing, I couldn’t help but feel a mixture of excitement and nervousness. Our new apartment awaited us, and with it, a new chapter in our lives. But there was also the reality of our demanding jobs. Adishh had two surgeries lined up this week, and I was returning to my duties at the hospital as well. Our work was about to get back into full swing, but this time as a married couple, not just dating.
Adishh’s POV:
The drive to Bangalore was filled with easy conversation and shared anticipation. I glanced at Adhya, her face reflecting the same mix of emotions I felt. We were heading towards a new life, and I was determined to make it as perfect as possible for her, starting with earning her forgiveness for the mistakes I had made in the past.
Our new apartment was waiting for us, and I had a few surprises planned to make it special. But first, duty called. As soon as we arrived, I had to prepare for the upcoming surgeries. Being a doctor meant that sometimes personal life had to take a back seat, but I was ready to balance both.
When we finally reached our apartment, Adhya’s eyes lit up. “It’s beautiful, Adi, it just like same I told you." she said, taking in the space.
“I’m glad you like it. But remember, this is just the start. We’ll make it our dream home together.”
We spent the rest of the day unpacking and settling in. There was a sense of newness in everything, from the way we moved around the space to the little routines we began to establish.
Adhya’s POV:
The next morning, reality hit as we both got ready for work. It felt strange yet comforting to go through our morning routines together. “I still can’t believe we’re married,” I said, sipping my coffee.
“Me neither,” Adishh replied, buttoning his shirt. “But I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
We drove to the hospital together, a new normal for us. Walking into the building, I felt a sense of pride and happiness. We were a team, both in our personal and professional lives.
As the day progressed, I was caught up in my duties, but my thoughts often drifted to Adishh. I knew he was busy with his surgeries, but it felt good knowing we were under the same roof, working towards the same goals.
Adishh’s POV:
The surgeries went well, but I couldn’t shake off the thought of Adhya. It was strange but comforting to think that she was just a few floors away. During a break, I texted her, “How’s your day going, Mrs. Adishh?”
She replied quickly, “Busy, but good. How are your surgeries?”
“Went well. Can’t wait to see you later.”
The rest of the day flew by, and before I knew it, we were driving back home. As soon as we walked into the apartment, the exhaustion of the day hit us both. But there was also a sense of accomplishment, of having faced the day together.
“Dinner?” I asked, pulling her into a hug.
“Sounds perfect,” she replied, leaning into me.
We cooked together, a simple meal that felt special because we were doing it as a team. As we ate, we talked about our day, our plans, and the future. The conversation flowed easily, filled with laughter and shared dreams.
Adhya’s POV:
After dinner, we settled on the couch, a comfortable silence enveloping us. I looked at Adishh, feeling a wave of gratitude and love. “You know, this feels perfect,” I said, snuggling closer to him.
“It does,” he agreed, kissing my forehead. “But remember, I still have to earn your forgiveness.”
I smiled, knowing he was sincere. “You’re on the right track.”
As the night wore on, we talked about everything and nothing, enjoying the simple pleasure of being together. It was the start of our new life, and despite the challenges ahead, I felt confident that we would face them together.
Adishh’s POV:
Holding Adhya close, I felt a deep sense of contentment. This was just the beginning, and I was ready for whatever the future held. With her by my side, I knew we could handle anything.
“Ready to call it a night?” I asked, feeling the day’s exhaustion catching up with me.
“Yeah, let’s get some rest,” she replied, standing up and stretching.
We headed to our bedroom, the place where we would start and end our days together. As we lay down, I held her close, feeling grateful for this new beginning.
“Goodnight, Adhya,” I whispered.
“Goodnight, Adishh,” she replied, her voice filled with warmth and love.
And as we drifted off to sleep, I knew that no matter what, we would face it all together, as husband and wife.
