Adhya's POV:
After a perfect candlelight dinner arranged by Adishh in his apartment, we decided to take a walk. The night air was cool and refreshing as he led me to the 15th floor of his building. My curiosity piqued when he handed me a key.
"Open it," he said, a twinkle in his eye.
I turned the key and pushed the door open to reveal a beautifully decorated apartment. There was a sign that read, "I hope my queen likes her small palace." The room was filled with flowers and candles, and the view of the city from the floor-to-ceiling windows was breathtaking.
I turned to Adishh, my eyes wide with amazement. "This is... incredible," I whispered, my voice choked with emotion.
He smiled, taking my hand. "I wanted to give you a place where we can start fresh, Adhya. I've booked bus tickets for home tomorrow. After our engagement, we can come back and arrange everything according to your wish, like our dream house."
Overwhelmed with happiness, I threw my arms around him, holding him tight. "I love it. I love you," I said, my voice muffled against his chest. After sudden realisation "I mean this flat." He laughed at my stupid act.
We headed back to his apartment, but before we could enter, Adishh stopped me. He held my hands, his eyes serious yet filled with love. "Adhya, let's sleep together tonight."
I felt a flutter of nerves and confusion. "Adi, I..."
He gently cupped my face, his thumb brushing my cheek. "I miss my Adhya every day, in every moment. But I promise, I never crave just your body. All I need is you, my Adhya, the one I fell in love with. Let's just be together tonight, like we used to be."
His words melted my heart. The sincerity and depth of his love were clear in his eyes. I nodded, my emotions overwhelming me. "Okay, Adi."
As we entered the apartment, the air between us was charged with an unspoken understanding. We changed into comfortable clothes, and I found myself standing by the bed, feeling both nervous and excited.
Adi approached me, his hands resting gently on my shoulders. "Relax, Adhya," he murmured, his voice soothing but also in a teasing note. "I just want to hold you, to feel you close."
We slipped under the covers, his arms wrapping around me protectively. The warmth of his body against mine was comforting, and I felt a sense of peace that I hadn't experienced in months. He kissed my forehead, his breath warm against my skin.
"I love you, Adhya," he whispered. "More than anything in this world."
"Is it, Adi," I replied, but my man is still have that genuine smile. Oh my god. He pulled me closer to him.
As we lay there, holding each other, I realized that this was all I needed. The love, the connection, and the sense of belonging that we shared. It was perfect, just as it was.
The next morning, the sun's rays filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow in the room. I woke up to the comforting weight of Adi's arm around me. For a moment, I just lay there, soaking in the warmth and the feeling of being so close to him.
"Good morning," he murmured, his voice still thick with sleep.
"Good morning," I replied, turning to face him.
He smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Did you sleep well?"
"Better than I have in months," I admitted. I dont want to spoil his mood cum my comfort too.
He pulled me closer, pressing a kiss to my temple. "I'm glad."
We stayed like that for a while, just enjoying the quiet intimacy of the moment. Eventually, though, we knew we had to get up and start the day. We had a bus to catch and a lot of things to prepare for our engagement.
After a quick breakfast, we packed our bags and headed to the bus station. The ride back home was filled with a mix of excitement and nervousness. I was looking forward to seeing my family and friendship because after 2days we are getting engaged and after 15days we getting married , but I was also anxious about the upcoming engagement and all the changes it would bring.
When we arrived, our parents greeted us with warm hugs and bright smiles. They were thrilled to see Adishh and me together, my parents love Adishh visa versa his parents love me much more than Adishh, it is best thing can ever get, and they couldn't stop talking about the engagement and all the preparations that were underway.
"Welcome home, Adhya," his mother said, her eyes shining with happiness.
"Thank you, Mom," I replied, hugging her tightly.
"And welcome to you, Adishh," my mother added, giving him a warm hug.
"Thank you, amma," he said, smiling.
My father clapped him on the back. "We're so happy to have you here, Adishh. You've been a part of this family for a long time, but now it's official."
Adishh smiled, his eyes flicking to mine. "I'm happy to be here, appa."
As the days went by, the house was filled with laughter, chatter, and the hustle and bustle of preparations. Adishh and I spent a lot of time with our family, this is benifit of marrying a neighbor, helping with the arrangements and catching up on everything we'd missed during our time apart.
The days flew by, and soon it was the night before our engagement. Our parents had arranged a small family gathering to celebrate. The house was filled with music, laughter, and the delicious aroma of homemade food.
As the evening went on, I found myself sitting with my mother, watching the festivities. She turned to me, her eyes filled with emotion.
"Laddu," she began, her voice soft, "you know you're our only child. Your father and I have always wanted the best for you."
I smiled, reaching out to hold her hand. "I know, amma. And you've given me everything I could ever ask for."
She sighed, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "It's just... we're so happy for you, but also a little sad. You're all grown up now, and soon you'll have a family of your own."
I squeezed her hand, feeling a lump form in my throat. "Amma, I'll always be your daughter. No matter where life takes me, you'll always be my family."
She nodded, a tear finally escaping and rolling down her cheek. "I know, sweetheart. It's just hard to let go."
I hugged her tightly, feeling the warmth and love that had always been a constant in my life. "I'm not going anywhere, amma. I'm just adding more love to our family."
As we embraced, my father joined us, wrapping his arms around both of us. "We'll always be here for you, laddu," he said, his voice steady but filled with emotion.
"I know, appa. And I'm so grateful for that."
