[+ the talk Lucifer had with Diavolo after the pillow fight.]

Lucifer sighed as he took a seat down at the backgarden's tea table.
The night was already half gone due to the pillow fight earlier.

A low laugh could be heard as Diavolo took a seat beside the Avatar of Pride.

"What? Is there something amusing about hearing me sigh?"

Diavolo shook his head,but a wide grin etched itself on his face,
"Not at all. I was just a little surprised to see that you still have a fun-loving side to you. Enough to enjoy a good pillow fight, at least."

Lucifer sighed again, perhaps Diavolo had mistaken,
"I'll have you know that i didn't enjoy it. I was punishing them for what they did."

Diavolo's eyes widened,
"Are you sure?"
He tilted his head to one side,
"Because it seemed like you were enjoying it quite a bit to me."

"If i'd enjoyed it, i wouldn't be sighing right now, would i?"

Diavolo let out a chuckle again.

"Tell me then, what was the real reason you sighed earlier?"

Lucifer stared into the lake that, glimmered under the moonlight, reflecting the beautiful night blue and purple sheen.

Seeing how Lucifer hadn't replied, Diavolo assured,
"It's just you and me now. Everyone else was completely worn out from that frenzied battle. They're all fast asleep at this point. Come on, you can tell me right? What's the harm?"

He stared with anticipation at Lucifer, who only shut his eyes and rubbed his temples,
"...as if you even need to ask. You already know the answer, and you've known for a good long time now."

The demon prince's expression turned into a serious one.
"So... it's about Y/n, is it?"

Lucifer nodded,
"Asmo is already the fourth of my brothers to make a pact with Y/n."

At that, a smile wriggled itself onto Diavolo's face again,
"I see, you've spent so long watching over and caring for them, and now it seems like they're grown up and don't need you anymore. You're starting to panic!"

Lucifer frowned,
"You seem to find this awfully amusing, Diavolo."

"Yes. I can't help it, seeing how genuinely troubled you seem to be over this.
Come on, this is a good, right? Demons and a human, putting aside their differences and forming a bond? It's exactly what i've been hoping would happen. Can't you be happy for them, Lucifer?"
Now it was Diavolo's turn to frown, but with a more worried look.

"...no. This is one case where i can't simply put aside my concerns and be happy."
He sighed once more.
"Of all the humans to choose as an exchange student, why did you have to pick that human?"

"There's that sigh again."

"Given the situation. I can't help it."

Too immersed in their conversation, Satan tried leaning in closer from behind the tree to hear what his older brother was saying.

"It's bad to eavesdrop on others, you know?"

With the sudden whisper, Satan whipped around immediately.

Barbatos stared at the fourth born, a blank expression on his face.
"I certainly can't say i approve, Satan."

Satan frowned at the other demon who interrupted, and made him lose track on whatever soft words the two other demons were mumbling about.
"Well, what about you? What are you doing here then, Barbatos?"
