3rd person perspective

This was a disaster. Not that he had any other option, but ever since Lucifer had swapped bodies with the fourth born, there was nothing but worry that filled his mind.

Furthermore, he even had to share a room with their exchange student.
No matter how much he detested the idea of it, it was the only option.
His brother's rooms were hazardous, if not careful. Asmodeus had the best room but the fifth born would rather die than have to share his personal palace.

And so, on the hard and uncomfortable floor, Lucifer tossed and turned in his sleeping bag.

To be forced to sleep on the floor without a bed,
And in someone else's room?
how humiliating.

Then there was the problem of facing Diavolo the next day.

It couldn't be helped.
The first born sat up and headed to the kitchen, that was now conveniently beside where he slept, and made himself a special tea blend to help with sleeping.

But this particular task triggered his memory when he first threatened the human with it on the staircase to the attic.

She sure was stubborn enough to continue heading up time and again even with his stern warnings.
He shook his head with a scoff before finishing his beverage.

With the help of the tea, Lucifer was finally able to drift into a good night's sleep.

Perhaps it was too good of a night's sleep, because the first born found himself frantically getting ready for school, all while trying to maintain a sense of calmness incase the human, who was still in bed, wakes up.

Satan had already left for school without even waking him nor her.

So much for yesterday's talk about not separating.

Lucifer made his way to the dining room for breakfast and before long so did she.
Was it normally this uncomfortable with her?

"So...Where are the rest of your brothers?"
She asked.

Still drowsy from before, Lucifer answered short and groggily to her question on the way to school.

"It's not like you to be later than them, though."
She said with a smile, suppressing a laugh.

The first born was taken aback by the exchange student's words.
Was she joking around?
With him?

So caught up in his thoughts, he didn't know what kind of reply to give, so he simply ignored it.

But the disappointment in her face later on didn't go unseen by Lucifer.

Perhaps...

Perhaps he would attempt to talk to the exchange student later on.

Maybe she could be of help to him and Satan's switch back,
he convinced himself,

that was the only reason he wanted to speak to you,

And nothing else.
