[Sorry for very late post. Been so busy with college work]

I was lying on the floor, staring at the ceiling as I felt relaxed for the first time in a while. I guess I was relaxed because I had someone who was watching over me, making sure nothing happened to me or Ae-ri. I felt happy to know that someone cared about me and my daughter like that. I turned my head, looking towards my protector, who was leaning against a pillar. Who would have thought Hyun-su and I were going to become this close? When I saw him at the elevator that first time, I never would've thought I would come to like him, a lot more than a friend but I'm glad. Two broken people had found each other in this new world.

I admired his features, seeing that after everything that was happening, he looked a lot more sure of himself. He had seen some things that he wouldn't open up about. He won't even tell me about the monster that was resting inside of him that kept claiming me as their own. I played with my hair as I let my eyes roam over the handsome guy, "Stop staring at me." Hyun-su's voice broke the silence, making me blink rapidly. My eyes focused on him again, seeing him stare at me, "It's a bit weird."

I shrugged, playing with my hair and looked back at the ceiling, "You're the one who doesn't want me to leave you right now. So I think I'm allowed to stare or do whatever I want." I said, a smile forming on my face.

I heard movement in his direction and then suddenly his face appeared over mine. He looked down at me, with a glint in his eyes, a very playful one. It was strange to see but I was welcoming it. I never get to see this side of him. I reached up, poking his nose gently. He leaned down, his face suddenly closer to mine, "Careful where you're staring." He whispered, his voice sounding husky, sending a shiver down my spine at his tone. Who would've thought he could be like this?

"Or what?" I whispered softly, watching him as his eyes shifted between his beautiful brown eyes and the stunning black eyes.

He smiled at me before he moved his hand to my cheek, stroking it gently, "Can I-" He whispered, starting off the sentence, "-kiss you?"

I felt my heart beat out of my chest at that question before nodding to him, not caring that I probably seemed eager. He smiled, leaning down his head more before pressing his chapped lips against mine. He was so gentle, just kissing me like he was scared to break me. I matched his tempo, kissing him back gently. I reached up, grabbing the back of his head, and pulling him down more. He let out a small groan before the kiss started to get more passionate. He gripped my hips, making me gasp against his lips.

I was happy to be here forever, just with him in this position. However, of course, reality had other plans for us both as there was a cough from the other side of the door. We slowly separated from the kiss, looking over at the door, and seeing the others there. I panted heavily and moved to sit up. I watched as Hyun-su slowly walked over to the people. He took a folded-up piece of paper before turning to look at me.

I moved to stand up as he moved to sit down. I sat down next to him, watching him unfold the paper and read it. He sighed before handing it to me, "Add whatever you need onto this." He said quietly to me.
