I stood over Eun-hyuk's shoulder, watching as Hyun-su walked through the basement. It was a stupid idea to send him alone. At least Sangwook should've been down there to help out. I bit down on my thumb as I shifted my weight onto my other foot. I was nervous for him, especially when he decided to be a dumbass and flip the camera.
"He wants to give me a heart attack," I mumbled under my breath as I watched the scene in front of me. I let out a gasp watching him get tied up in a web. "Eun-hyuk?!"
I ran out of the room, noticing that he had already rounded up Sangwook, Jisoo and Jae-hyeon. "I'm coming too." I said, looking between them, "I can handle it."
Eun-hyuk sighed, knowing he was not going to be able to fight against me and gestured for me to follow him.
"Ye-na." I heard, making me turn to Mr Han who held out the baton that I came down with. "I tweaked it a bit so you have more power with it. You'll need it."
I bowed my head to him, taking it from him, "Thank you. Mind Ae-ri for me? I'll make it up to you." I said before running after Eun-hyuk and the others.
I followed them down the stairs, following behind Sangwook with Jisoo behind me. I looked around in the basement, seeing all of the cars that hadn't been moved in days. The lighting was flickering, giving me serious apocalyptic vibes. I tried to avoid jumping at every sound that I was hearing as I didn't want to alert anything that was down there. I looked around, my baton tightly in my grip in case I needed it. I was hoping I wouldn't.
Eun-hyuk shined his light around the corner, which made me stop, realizing that there was a monster standing there. I was seriously hoping that this was not going to be me. Tell me why the person wanted to have goat legs. Was he into Greek mythology? I will never know. I ran my fingers through my hair, stepping back as Jae-hyeon moved forwards only to be stopped by Eun-hyuk. "I think it's asleep. Let's not wake it up."
"That's even creepier," I said softly in quick response. My brain was in overdrive as I was scared to see what my monster shape was going to be and I honestly didn't want to find out. I just hoped I could keep it at bay until we can get everyone out of here safely and then I'll leave.
We moved away from the monster, slowly making our way over to Hyun-su. I was making extra sure that I didn't hit anything as I walked or made noise. I didn't want any more attention than we had. I looked at the web cocoon that was holding Hyun-su. It was disgusting and covered in some kind of slime. Ew. But whatever it was, it was growling at us and moved back up into the ceiling.
I walked forward, taking the knife from Eun-hyuk as he handed it to me, "Cover me." I whispered before I gently cut into the web, not wanting to hurt Hyun-su. Sangwook moved over to me, helping to hold him as I cut him free and he dropped down. I winced at the sound and placed one of his arms over my shoulder, holding onto his spear, as Sangwook did the same and we began to head back to the entrance.
