Hyun-su continued to walk ahead, not caring if Yena was following or not. Actually, that's a lie. He really did care if she was following because he needed to figure out how to bring back the real Yena, the one that actually liked him and Hyun-su. He didn't want to be dealing with this childish monster. She was annoying but he assumed it's because he prefers Yena as she lets him get away with a lot of things with just a few teasing words and smile. She was just perfect. The real Hyun-su was lucky to have her.
The other monster moved in the wing, making him look down at him, "Why did you reject the offer he proposed?" He asked, curiously. "There aren't that many of us left in the world. There's no need to do this for the sake of humans."
"That's not why." He said as he walked. He suddenly crunched the monster and bent down to him, "The only motive I have for doing this is for personal reasons." He narrowed his eyes at him, "I only do things for Cha Hyun-su's sake. You're so fucking lucky it was only a mistake on your part." He stomped the monster into the ground, "What you've done had pissed me off more. So don't think of it as unfair. There's nothing wrong with the strong playing with the weak, right?"
The monster wrapped his tenacles like hands around Hyun-su's leg to burn him even for him to let go. He then took off running. "Yah!" Yena shouted as she ran after him. She launched herself into the air to land on him. Only for him to shoot the liquid at her. She fell to the ground and rolled for a couple of seconds. "Asshole." She mumbled.
I let out a loud gasp as the pain flooded my system, waking me up and taking control back of my body. I could feel the concrete underneath me as I gain consciousness. "Fuck, that hurts." I mumbled as I moved to sit up. I rubbed my hands together to try and get rid of the dirt. I looked up, seeing the chucky guy running away, making me tilt my head. "Where am I?" I asked softly.
I slowly managed to pull myself to my feet and looked around, noticing that Hyun-su was trapped under the mysterious liquid. I ran over to him, "You okay?" I asked him.
"I thought I told you not to-" He snapped his head up to me before his facial features relaxed when he realized that it was me and not my monster. "Good, you're back. We have to grab that asshole." He said, his face showing how pissed off he was as he ripped himself through the now dried liquid. "You okay?"
I nodded and smiled at him, "I'm fine. Not giving up on our bet just yet." I said, poking his side before turning to the monster that was far in the distance. I raised my hand up as it started to shoot out electricity.
"That's definitely not going to hit him."
"Shush!"
"It won't-"
"Shut up Hyun-su!" I snapped turning to face him, "I'm actually gonna hit you crack across the skull."
"No you won't." He said cheekily before grabbing my waist. He used his wing to launch us into the air so we could get to the monster.
