Season 3
I held onto Hyun-su's body, keeping him in a hug, hoping he would come back to me. There was so many thoughts running in my head and they all had one thing in common, Hyun-su. All I wanted was the real Cha Hyun-su, the Hyun-su I fell in love with. The one that would rather die to protect me than annoy me like not Hyun-su does.
"Yena,"
I pulled away, hearing his soft voice, hoping that it was really him. That he broke free but it wasn't. I was met with his shocking blue eyes and a smirk on his soft lips. "There's my girl," He said softly, reaching a hand up to brush back a strand of hair. "Why do you want weak Cha Hyun-su when you can have me? I'll protect you just as well. Love you and the kids just as much."
I rolled my eyes at his words, knowing that it was what Hyun-su wanted not him. I could hear the other me calling out for me to let her take over as Hyun-su let him free. I could feel her scratching at the back of my head, trying to bring herself forwards. I looked into his eyes, seeing black veins forming on his eye bags, before leaning in slowly. I could see his smirk widening, "I want my Hyun-su," I whispered before headbutting him as hard as I can.
I watched in pain as he fell to the ground, his head hanging low slightly. I rubbed my forehead, hearing my other self screaming at me. 'You're an idiot, Yena. Let me out. Let me out. I want him. I want to claim him.' I shook my head as I watched him lift his head slightly. His eyes staring at me as they turned his warm browns. "Yena?" He whispered softly.
I bent down to him, brushing his hair from his face with a slight smile forming on my lips, "You're back." I whispered just as quietly. I looked him over, seeing the sadness behind his eyes. I cupped his cheeks gently, "It's okay." I whispered softly.
"W-what happened?" He asked, his eyes searching mine as I moved to sit cross legged across from him. He grabbed my hands, his eyes roaming over me, "You aren't hurt? Y-you became-"
I let him tighten his grip on my hands, "It's fine. I'm fine. I just evolved." I whispered softly, not wanting to scare him anymore than he was. "You were being hurt. I wanted to protect you. It didn't hurt, I promise."
He nodded, searching my eyes to see if I'm lying before his shoulders relaxed. "He didn't do anything to you right? Cause my head hurts."
I laughed softly, "He kissed me but I didn't kiss back. I promise. I headbutted you because he pretended you were back. I'm so sorry." I leaned over to rub the red mark on his head with my thumb, "He just really pissed me off. But the monster side of me likes him, which is funny to me."
He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close to him. I sat on his lap and wrapped my legs around his waist. He brushed back a strand of hair and sighed softly, "Can't leave you alone with him. He likes you a lot." He said softly as he cupped my cheeks gently. "Guess I'll have to remove that kiss. Where was it? On the cheeks?" He leaned forwards to press his cracked lips against my left cheek, "No? The other one?" I felt my cheeks go hot as he kissed my right cheek. "Not that either? Hmmm..." He said before pecking my nose. I couldn't help the giggle that left my lips. "Not there?"
