[Think this my worse chapter of the book. I'm sorry for the last upload]
I held onto him with my ability, keeping him down so that Yi-su could get as far away as she could before he found her. I promised to protect everyone and I wasn't going to let Sangwon win. He was never going to get Yi-su and hurt her. I'll make sure of it. I could feel myself getting weaker against him as he continued to struggle against me.
'We can do this together. Fuck him. I want him dead' I heard the monster Yena say in my head. I could imagine the wide smile on her face at the thought of destroying someone. 'We can combine together and become so feared. We have to to protect everyone.'
I closed my eyes, letting myself give into the monster inside of me. I slowly curled up my fingers as my eyes shot open before throwing him into another wall. I lifted myself up and looked at my stomach, seeing that I had healed. I lifted my head to look at Sangwon, who was being held against the wall, "You know.. you were a lot better when you were Ui-Myeong." I said as I walked towards him, "You were nicer as well."
He lifted his head, looking at me with such anger, I could feel it radiating off of him. He was visibly shaking. Guess he didn't like that I finally had the upper hand over him. "You weren't such a bitch back then."
I tutted with a smile forming on my lip as I looked at him. I slowly leaned in to his ear, "You just didn't see me at my psycho." I whispered into his ear before I headbutted him as hard I could, hearing a crunch. I pulled away, seeing that his nose was bleeding. "Oops." I said with a fake laugh.
All of a sudden, his arm shot out, the tenacle shooting through my chest. I could feel the pain running through my body. It was like blue fire running through my system, kicking the adrenaline in high gear. "Yeah, oops." He said, a smirk forming on his face.
I looked down at the tenacle and giggled to myself before lifting my head to face him. I could see the smile on his face wavering. "Is this all you can do to me?" I giggled before snapped the tenacle making him cry out in pain. I pulled the rest of the tenacle out of me and sighed, "You really are a one trick pony." I kicked him in the face hard, watching as he fell to the ground.
He seemed to be out so I have a chance to get out and make sure that Yi-su and Haru were out of the building. I turned on my heels and ran out of the room, going down the tunnel where Yi-su ran. I came to a stop, facing a girl who was just standing there. She was wearing a jumper and some ripped jeans. She had long dark hair and she was staring at me with her dark eyes. She seemed too familiar and I wasn't sure where I knew her from, "Why are you still here? You need to go."
I grabbed her hand and ran with her following behind me. I didn't know how much I had but I was going to use it to the best of my abilities to get whoever out. "Mom!" I heard Haru shout, running towards me, his face bloodied. He stopped in front of me, "Yi-su... She went back inside to find her mom and Ae-ri disappeared from Ms Cha so I'm looking for her-" He stopped, looking behind me, his eyes turning wide.
