Emmeline grinned when she turned around and saw Kol coming down the stairs.

He held a rose in his hands, twirling it around. He then spun, showing off his clothes.

Emmeline cocked her head to the side.

"Mischief becomes you, friend."

"Friend?" Kol asked, exaggerating offence.

Emmeline grinned. "Comrade?"

Kol walked down the rest of the steps until he was in front of her.

"Try again." He whispered.

Emmeline only stared at him for a few more seconds before swiping the rose from him and stepping back.

"It's good to see you again, Kol." She spoke softly.

Kol rushed forward and embraced Emmeline, using his vamp speed to twirl her around.

Emmeline giggled when he set her down, feeling slightly dizzy.

When she had recovered, she looked around the majestic dining area they stood in.

"I love the place." She sang as she held out her hands and twirled.

Kol looked up and down at the tapestries that decorated the place.

"Not too shabby." He shrugged. "If I had the time I would have acquired something much grander."

Emmeline examined the pretty flowers that had been set up around the place.

She had never understood the Mikaelson's insistence on living in castles and all. Didn't seem like 'keeping a low profile' to her. Especially with Mikael on the prowl.

"Which would only make it easier for Niklaus and your family to find you." Emmeline commented.

Kol folded his arms across his chest as he studied the fair dark haired woman.

"Ah it has only been minutes of our reunion and of course you mention his name."

Emmeline turned to look at the youngest Mikaelson. He looked upset even though he seemed hard not to be trying to.

She walked towards him.

"You know your brother infuriates me as much as he does you."

"Is that why you're here." Kol muttered, scoffing and shaking his head. "Did you and Nik get into yet another squabble."

Emmeline bit the insides of her cheek hard.

She hesitated before answering. "I came to see you." She spoke.

Kol let out a dry chuckle as he walked past her.

"Come on, Emma, I know you're a much better liar than that."

Emmeline followed Kol.

"Come on partner, don't act like you didn't miss me." She spoke.

Kol stopped by the table, he gestured for one of his man servants to pour him a drink.

He didn't respond to her.

Emma walked up to the man servant and took the bottle from him. She dismissed him before stepping forward and finishing off pouring Kol's drink.

She looked him right in the eyes as she didn't this.

When she was done, she set the bottle down and squeezed herself in between the table and Kol so that she was right in front of him.

"You did miss me, didn't you?" She asked, lowering her voice to a sultry tone.
