The Last Dance Part II

"Bloody hell." Klaus muttered as he burst into the apartment.

Emma looked up in interest.

Klaus in Alaric's body came in pacing looking upset and angry.

Emma turned to look at Katherine who was still stabbing herself in the thigh.

"What's going on?" Katherine asked with a weak groan as she took the knife out.

Klaus ran his hand through he hair before turning to address both girls with accusatory looks.

"You were wrong." He spat. "The new bound witch does have her magic."

"What?" This time it was Emmeline who spoke.

Her mind raced with thoughts until she settled on the only logical explanation.

Jonas must have somehow given it back before he was killed.

That would explain why she didn't find it on him when Katherine killed him.

"The witches are all juiced up and aiming to kill." Klaus spoke. "And Alisha is helping them."

He stopped in the middle of the room and scoffed looking off at nothing. "That Sasha, she called me a coward."

Katherine looked at Emma seeing her deep in thought.

They could use this to get out of here, right?

Katherine shifted uncomfortably due to the pain in her leg. "That's terrible."

Maddox was in the kitchen making a sandwich.

He made himself known.

"We're gonna have to kill her, Maddox." Klaus spoke as he entered the room. He walked over to open the closet.

"Do you think this Alaric guy has anything vintage?" He asked as he rummaged through.

"Kill the bound witch?" Maddox asked in confusion.

Klaus rolled his eyes. "Of course not, just the other two. The bound witch lives. I still need her."

"She's a threat to you." Emma spoke.

Klaus stopped. He turned and looked at her.

"She only becomes a true threat if she's bound to me. Which you said they had no clue about." He spoke.

"Not yet." Emma spoke. "But trust me, the Salvatores and their little posse are annoying but vigilant. They will find out eventually."

Klaus watched Emma in curiosity knowing she wasn't giving this information out of the goodness of her heart.

She had screamed at him about how he would pay not too long ago. He didn't reckon she had suddenly had a change of heart.

"And what do you suggest I do, love?"

Emma held her chin up. She needed to be as sober minded as possible to suggest this. Klaus was already suspicious of her and it would take a lot of convincing.

"Have Maddox transfer Alisha Bennett's magic to me." She spoke in a level and calm tone.

For a few seconds Klaus just stared at her

He then burst out laughing.

He turned around and kept looking through Alaric's clothing.

"I'm serious Nik." Emmeline spoke. "I know the spells already. I designed most of them. I'm your best bet."

"And I would rather receive another long lecture from Elijah than weaponise the likes of you so that you can what? Kill me yourself?" He asked sarcastically.
