A/N: this is going to be a but load of angst. This is a canon like story. Post war.

Izuku hasn't been ok since the war. He didn't even sleep at night. Every time he closed his eyes all he saw was Tomura Shigarki and Katsuki's dead body. He couldn't get the image out of his head. He wished he could be he couldn't.

Katsuki also couldn't sleep, only having the guilt of a heart that wasn't his in his body. Another hero had to fall because of him. He couldn't stand it.

And so thus Shota Aizawa with mandatory therapy. Izuku and Katsuki both had 2 sessions a week, one alone and one together. The rest of the class had also had therapy too but Izuku and Katsuki were the only ones recommended shared therapy.

They shared things about themselves, their thoughts, their failures, their nightmares. Their feelings about everything. Katsuki and Izuku had never saw this side to each other. Katsuki hasn't known how closed off Izuku was with his emotions, he had always thought Izuku was this open book, but turns out it was all an act. He was truly suffering.

Izuku however had a feeling that Katsuki was also faking it, but had never thought he would see the day Katsuki sobbing. He was just sobbing, no fighting, no insults, just sobbing. That day they truly understood each other. And has always been there for one another.

For a month the sessions have been lowered to just the group sessions. The light in their eyes slowly came back as the sessions were less angsty. They would talk about how hard training was or how the test lowkey kinda took a toll, the therapist even had to convince Katsuki that no in fact he cannot blow his test up.

Things were going so good. At some point they graduated therapy, not having to go anymore at all. But they loved their time together, so weekly they would meet up in Katsuki's room, turn on some good music, order some take out and just talk.

Shota usually doesn't allow others in others rooms but he had made an exception. Since they did this they have been getting better. Proud of their process.

Vacation came around and everyone was sent home for 3 weeks, of course Katsuki and Izuku decided to go to Inko's together. Inko smiled seeing the 2 boys well and together.

Inko hugged both Katsuki and Izuku. "I missed you boys so much, how have you been?" Inko asked leading the 2 boys inside.

Izuku and Katsuki followed. Happily sitting on the couch. "We been good mom, we graduated from therapy not too long ago." Izuku said.

Inko smiles. "That's good to hear, but don't be ashamed to talk to people Izuku, that goes for you to Katsuki." Inko said pouring the boys a cup of tea.

Katsuki nodded. "Once a week we talk about our feelings to each other. It's nice actually." Katsuki said smiling at Izuku.

Izuku smiled back. What they didn't tell anyone is that during on of these sessions they confess their desires for each other. That they didn't just have a tiny crush on one another, they loved each other and want to continue on loving each other.

Inko smiled, they may have not told her yet but she's a mother, they always know when their child is gay and dating their "best friend."

"What have you been up to mom?" Izuku asked wanting to know what's Inko been up to. They haven't exactly spoke in a while. A lot was going on but Inko understood. She's just happy Izuku was here now.

"Nothing much, I usually just spend my days working, a lot of patience's since the war ended. But all is good." Inko smiled. Because she was a Doctor she helped out the injured people before, during and post war.

Izuku smiled, he was always proud of his mother. From a very young age Inko had been a doctor's helping all types of people, Heroes, citizens and even some cases, captured villains. She was very brave and a true hero in Izuku's eyes.
