Chapter-72

With his last hope and shaking voice he asked "Mahi bhai aap bhi aisa hi kahenge kya? I swear I'll take good care of her. I'll try my best to keep her happy, I really can't live without her." His face was all red with his emotions flowing out.

Rishabh couldn't control his laugh seeing Shreyas like that laughed out loud making the others too join him. After all he was successful in pranking his bestie. Shreyas who understood their inner motive kept a angry pout and said "I didn't expect this from u all. Like u guys are pranking about this matter? Mahi u too helped them?"

Rishabh immediately said "they all just took part in it, this was my idea Shrey leave them."  Harry who was not looking happy said "yeh har roz hamare team mein pranksters badte jaa rahe hain. Jaddu hum kya kare?" (Day by day the pranksters are getting more and more what should we do Jaddu?) "wahi toh" replied Jaddu.

"Bacha we are very happy with ur decision. I know why you took the decision. Both of you live happily that's what we want." Said Mahi.

"Ha Shrey we are okay with ur decision after all it's ur life we are none to interfere. But remember she is our choti behen. I'm not saying u should not let her cry because in a relationship that happens but just don't hurt her or break her trust." Said Sky as Aarohi is really close to him.

"Agar aisa kuch kiya na tu toh taange thodenge"(if you do something like that we'll break ur legs) said Virat in his punjabi da Munda style.

"Yes and we all will support them only" said Shubman and Ishan.

"Listen Shrey both of you are important for us we can't take sides of you two. If you were hurt we'll definitely be ur side and vice versa but don't stop urself from saying anything to us just because we are protective for Aaru. We are still ur brothers and remain the same u don't have fear about it and bottle up everything in u." Said Rohit seeing which MS had a proud grin on his face.

The call went on with some lame jokes plannings and plottings.

Finally the day came when everyone from the team were in Chennai for their first match. Just before two days the match. The whole team was busy in arranging for the things. Yes their one more brother is going to get committed and they can't not be more than happy and that too with their sister. Aarohi was confused seeing their weird behaviour and they didn't even let her come outside. She was thinking of various possible reasons for their behaviour.

That's when she was called down to the lawn area by Shreyas. She was happy that she's getting to spend time with him them alone. Reaching there the whole area is dark when she called him. There he stood with the black suit looking handsome she could ever imagine. They both were moving towards each other and lights were on. Aarohi took notice of the surroundings she was shocked seeing those arrangements as everything was according to her taste.

Shreyas jerked her towards himself by holding her waist and said " so how's the arrangement chari?" "More beautiful than I can ever think" replied Aarohi. "But what's all this?" She questioned not being able to control her curiosity. He chuckled at her impatience and said " u'll get to know soon." Saying this he knelt down taking a box from his pocket.

"Listen Aarohi I don't why I'm doing this wether this is right or wrong but I want you by my side forever. I want to tease you, annoy you and always be there for you. Will you let me be? Will you marry me chari?" Shreyas said.

Aarohi's eyes were tearing she didn't expect this. She stood there numb, not reacting or saying something. This was making him a hell nervous. "Everytime u keep on talking now say something chari" Shreyas said.

Aarohi took a step back shaking her head. Seeing this Shreya's whole world came crashing down. He stood up. "Say something chari" he asked this time more like pleading.

Mustering her courage and with her hands tightly fist she said "NO". Shreyas was shocked to hear. He didn't expect that answer. "You are pranking right? Is yes then please stop it" he said hurt evident in his voice but still with a little hope. Aarohi controlled her emotions trying hard she kept a straight face and said "No". Shreyas felt something broke inside him.

The team members couldn't hear anything thought the opposite and as per their plan went towards them and blasted the bloopers which only increased the tears in Aarohi's eyes. She didn't want it to be true. Seeing their expressions the team got to know that it was not what they were thinking. The feeling Aarohi was feeling is a mix of guilt and embarrassment. With this she ran from there to her room.
