°Reunion Calls For Conversation°

Getting to see Kurapika with long, grey hair and round glasses was something no one was expecting to see... Killua hummed at the look, just observing him before glancing at Wanderer. Both of their faces were enough to swoon many girls...

Gon watched him with awe, and spoke sweetly with a soft smile.

"You look awesome!"

Kurapika smiled and thanked him gently. Nahida agreed with Gon, the long wig and glasses that obscured the majority of his face, made it so that you wouldn't be able to tell Kurapika's gender unless his hair was shorter.

Leorio cleared his throat, a bit flustered at the look.

"So... New look?"

"Not really, I just needed a disguise."

He took a deep breath before looking at Nahida, who was in front of him.

"You were right. I've, killed a member of the Phantom Troupe."

Leorio frowned, but instead of the nagging Kurapika expected, he just leaned on the decorative, wooden part of the seat Wanderer and the kids were in. Looking outside the window with a distant look in his eyes.

Killua whistled at the confession and leaned back on the seat, shoulder to shoulder with Gon.

"Guess I should've expected it..."

Gon just stayed quiet, but there wasn't any sadness or disappointment in his gaze. He was just, thinking.

Wanderer seemed, odd. Tapping a finger against his arm with the hat covering his expression, Nahida simply observed him while getting straight to the point.

"That's why they're after you? And why you need a disguise?"

"Yes, I want to keep my advantage. That being my appearance, a secret for now."

Leorio couldn't lie, Kurapika looked like a woman. The best disguise he could come up with, that's for sure.

Kurapika lowered his gaze.

"But, they know about you three. I'm sure they're starting to connect the dots. Also, I'm going after their leader next."

Leorio finally turned to face him.

"Oi, are you serious...?"

Kurapika moved the sunglasses further up the bridge of his nose, hiding his red irises from view as he spoke without hiding his hostility.

"Of course. I need to destroy the head. That's the only way the spider will die."

Everyone heard the anger inside his voice and stayed quiet until Kurapika sighed.

"I'm sorry, I know this isn't what we expected upon reuniting... I'll handle this on my own-"

"No, you're not."

Everyone turned to Wanderer, waiting for him to explain. The kids looked at him with expectations. Even Leorio had hopes that he could help Kurapika in some way.

"You'll need help." Wanderer pointed pointed at the kids beside him. "Pushing them away won't work out anyway."

While Kurapika blinked in confusion, Gon and Killua smiled before getting up from their seats, and jumping outside. They went to Kurapika and sat on both of his sides. Trapping the blond between them. Gon smiled happily at him.

"We'll help!"

Killua leaned back on the soft cushion with a soft smile.

"Those guys aren't easy, I'm sure we can outsmart them."
