- And now?. — Lisa said flustered again, alternating her gaze between me and the timer in her hand.

— 20 minute break Lisa. — I said calmly, still leaning against the bed.

— Don't you want to go to the hospital? It would be better if we did.

— Love, relax, we spoke a thousand times with our obstetrician, we only need to go if the contractions last from 40 seconds to more than 1 minute, and with intervals of 5 minutes or less, I have an interval of 20 minutes.

— How am I going to work with you like this?, no chance.

I took a deep breath holding Lisa's hand, regretting having told her about the contractions, I had never seen that woman as nervous and anxious as she was now.

— Baby, we've already talked about this, anything my mom will call you, she'll be right there. — We heard the campaign ring and at the same time we looked at the door of our room. — Look, she's already arrived. — I said, getting up from the bed with difficulty.

I didn't want to worry Lisa, I tried to control my reactions, but the contractions were like knives stuck in my uterus, but I had some kind of intervals being long, what I had was not time yet.

Lisa affects me around the apartment like a bodyguard, opening the door while I sat on the sofa, placing my feet on the stool facing the sofa, preventing my breathing control.

— She's having contractions. — Lisa said with a worried tone of voice.

-Good morning my love. — She receives a kiss from my mother on my head.

I watched her hang up her bag, and then she sat down next to me on the couch.

— Mom, can you reassure Lisa?

My mother stared at her, Lisa was standing in front of me.

— Don't worry, dear, I'll call you straight away if I have anything.

— It will take me 40 minutes to get there by car, by then you will already be in the hospital.

— Lisa is going to work for God's sake, I can't stand you here at home with me, you're making me nervous. — I grimaced feeling another pang in my stomach, Lisa's haste was worsening my mood.

She walked to the bedroom, bringing her cell phone with her, once again marking the interval between the contractions. I glared at her and my mother, noticing the pleasant atmosphere, cried out.

— Lisa dear, do you know what I know that helps with contractions? — Lisa looked at my mother curiously. — Chamomile tea.

— Good, we have it here. — Lisa said excitedly, going to the kitchen.
