Chapter song: it will rain by Bruno Ma
Point of view Lalisa Manoban5 years later.....
I opened my eyes with difficulty when I heard a knock on the door, I stared deeply at my wife sleeping next to me and I got up feeling a cold wind hit my body.
When I opened the door I noticed Lily on the other side.
- What was my love. — I picked her up, thanking her for being so thin, it helped my back.
— There's a noise in my room.
I walked with Lily on my lap down the hall, her room wasn't far from ours.
Her door was already open so I just walked past her, placing Lily on the floor, her small feet touched the rug on the floor next to the bed.
— Where is the noise coming from? — Lily pointed to the window that was partially open.
I walked towards it, putting my head out with difficulty seeing as it was very dark, I heard the sound of the wind knocking on the door of Lily's tree house, it was still under construction, so some parts of the wood were loose.
I closed the window and then locked it.
— What's there? — The little girl asked worriedly.
—Sit here with mom. Lily sat on my lap as I asked, putting her slender arms around my neck. — Remember your tree house we're building? — Lily nodded, looking at me with her curious eyes. — Her little door is loose, the wind is hitting it and making this noise, you don't have to worry, okay?
— Okay mom, can you put me to sleep again?
- Sure, let's go.
I got up and stood next to Lily's bed, she threw herself on the bed and I pulled the blanket off her, shaking it over her body and listening to her hearty laugh.
— Can you stay until I sleep?
- Can I. — I covered her little body completely and lay down next to her.
Llily came closer to me and I began to calmly caress her long hair, it took almost ten minutes for her to fall asleep again, I got up carefully turning off the ceiling light and turning on the lamp. I left a kiss on her forehead before leaving, as a precaution I left her door open.
I went back to the room and got under the covers again, it was very cold.
— Is Lily okay? — Rosé asked, resting her head on my chest, clinging to my body.
— Yes, the door to the tree house is loose, remind me to fix it tomorrow.
- It can leave.
It didn't take long for me to fall asleep again.
[...]
— As an architect, you are a great driver. — I rolled my eyes when I heard Jisoo speak. —Stop talking nonsense and give me the hammer.
