Willow's pov

Everyone cheered waiting for them to sing. The crowd cheering.

"Weeping moth."

"Weeping moth."

"Weeping moth."

I look up at them with amusement but lowkey impressed. I wondered if I would cringe watching my brother preform. The sibling part in me could allow me to think that my big brother might've been even the slightest bit of cool. Finally they were done setting up. Ellie grabs the mic in her hands and smiles.

"Are you fuckers ready!?" She yells in the mic and the crowd get louder. I look around wondering who the fuck these people all, I mean it's not like they were famous or anything. Maybe they were just hyped for live music. Dina strikes her guitar playing the first note. The guitar slowly fades away and then Ellie plays a chord. I wondered what her voice sounded like singing.

Her natural speaking voice had always been low, raspy and annoyingly attractive. Would her singing voice be just as captivating? Suddenly without warning they all started to play. I gotta admit as much as I'd love to hate on Jesse for simply being my brother he was a beast at playing the drums. Always had been. Not even I could beat him and not brag I wasn't that bad. I watch Ellie lean in to the mic her lips in a slight smile as she sung the first line of their song.

"I like you, girl
Your mind is ever changing."

My heart starts to beat loudly in my chest, I hated the fact I found her voice strikingly beautiful. Her auburn colored hair flowed naturally with the wind.

"I like when you cry,
cuz your eyes are entertaining."

I don't know if it was the alcohol running trough my veins or if her eyes indeed were glued to mine when she sung that last bit. A mischievous smile appearing on her lips she looks away and closes her eyes as she continues to sing. Gotta give it to her she was passionate. If I hadn't know who she was I would've mistaken her for an angel when she indeed the complete opposite of that.

I don't know if her looking in my direction while saying singing such lyrics was her trying to provoke me. Considering our "sweet" past I wouldn't doubt that even while preforming she was still trying to antagonize me. I tried not to look to bothered by the fact she kept finding me in the crowd in the middle of their performance.

At the end of the song she sent me a wink and I scoff. She was so full of herself. I push past the crowd of people to grab a drink. If I was to keep up with her stupid antics I'd need something way stronger than some weak ass beer from beer pong. Everyone knows you use the cheap alcohol for this type of games.

Ellie's pov

I tried to find Willow after our performance ended seeing as she walked away right after the first song. She could try and deny it but truth was there had underlying attraction between us. After a while of looking I gave up and slumped in one of the chairs outside by the pool. I lit up a joint and closed my eyes. Somewhere in between I must've fell asleep.

"Have you seen Willow?" Jesse shakes me awake worry in his eyes. "No?"

"Dina's been looking for her as well she's not answering her phone. God Ellie's she's such a bad drunk what if something happened to her?"

"Wow Jesse calm down. She probably went to lay down or something."

"Fuck okay. Just keep help me look for her?" I nod in agreement and pull out my phone to look at the time. Dina had already started to send people home. It was four in the morning so some people had already voluntarily left. I woke a guy up from the couch and he looked up startled.

"Who are you? Where am I?" He cursed under his breath and hurried his head in his hands. I click my teeth together annoyed. "Party's over dude. Get out."

He looked up at me confused before nodding in realization. "Right." He stood up looking embarrassed before speed walking out the door.

"Alright Willow where are you?" I mutter under my breath before pulling out my phone. I know for a fact her phone number hadn't changed. When she went away from college I texted a few times and never got a reply except for one time. I remember staring at her text for a solid thirty minutes before deciding to actually call her.

•Flashback•

"Call me." I stare at her text with curiosity. I never expected her to reply. It's been a year since she moved across the country to pursue whatever her dream was. I wonder if she's still pissed that I kissed her. I tried to play it off by laughing which just made her even angrier with me. I admit it maybe I went to far but when she looked at me with those sharp eyes of hers I couldn't help it. I wanted to feel the touch of her lips on mine and I did something really stupid.
She was Jesse's sister I could never have her even if I wanted to.

I finally hit the call button and it doesn't ring for long.

"Ellie." Her voice cooed. Lines formed in my forehead confused. "Are you drunk?"

"What? No no no. I don't drink. Im a straight A student." She giggled on the other end and I sighed. "Why'd you want me to call you?"

"Hmm I just wanted to hear your voice." She whispers. I can feel my face heat up. I regained my composure and chuckle. "You're cute."

"Babe who's that?" Another female voice could be heard from the distance and Willow gasps.

"I gotta go." She whispered in another giggle before hanging up. I pull the phone away my heart racing. Was she dating someone? And called me?

•flashback end•

As expected she doesn't answer. She didn't answer Jesse why would she answer me. I walked around the house going room by room. Each one empty. Finally I open the door to one of the upstairs bathroom and there she was. Her arms crossed on top of the toilet seat. Even with her makeup smeared she was stunning. I pull out my phone and snap a quick picture.

"Willow." I lean down gently shaking her.

"Willow." I try to talk quietly but she doesn't answer. She just attempts to push me away while grumbling nonsense. I sigh and pinch the bridge of my nose.

"You are so lucky I like you." I mutter before lifting her up. In the movies the pretty girl is always light as a feather. Well that was bullshit. "Fuck you're heavy."

I complain in a mutter the whole way to the nearest empty room before gently setting her down. I place the blanket on top of her and make sure to shut the curtains before I leave. I pull my phone out and to call Jesse.

"Did you find her?"

"Yup...look at...your phone." I speak while trying to focus. I send him the picture of Willow sleeping on the bathroom before putting the phone back up to my ear. I hear him laugh in disbelief. "She's such an idiot."
