Willow's pov

It'd been a few days since our little argument in the bathroom if you could even call it that. Things in the apartment had been pretty tense and Jesse had started to notice.

"Seriously what is up with you guys!? Can we just have one night of peace?" We'd been arguing about what tv show to watch and things escalated as did every single petty argument we had. Jesse stood in between of us his brows furrowed and we both stepped back shocked that he had just yelled. Jesse was usually pretty calm and it took a lot to anger him.

"I-I'm sorry." I apologize first and he pinches the bridge of his nose. "I don't even want to watch anything anymore."

"No, come on. Let's just watch Loki." Ellie tried to pull him back down to the couch. She didn't even apologize, all she cares about was getting her way. No, not on my watch. "I'm not watching that."

"For gods sake Lo, what do you want to watch then?" Ellie tossed her arms in the air and I shrugged. Jesse let's out a frustrated grunt and starts to walk away. "I don't know what's going on with you two but I'm not coming back out until you make up! And no you can't have any of my weed!"

The door to his room slams shut and we're left alone in the living room like grounded children.

"See what you did! You pissed Jesse off."

"I pissed him off? What about you!?"

"I can't believe how childish you are. We could've simply watched Loki."

"And let you get your way?" I scoff and her eye's basically pop out of her head. "See what I mean! You're being immature."

"So what if I am. You're just as immature. Brining that girl here." I lower my voice to whisper yell and she looks at me in disbelief. "That girl? You mean Jacklyn? This is what this is about?"

"You could at least have some respect to take her elsewhere. I don't want to hear you two fucking all the time."

"How's that any of your business."

"I live here. It's uncomfortable." I look away crossing my arms. Ellie snorts and leans in. "Are you jealous princess?"

Her index finger pulls on my chin making me face her and I shrug. "Why would I be? You mean nothing to me."

"Oh? Really? So it means nothing if I...do this?" Her face leans in and she plants a soft kiss on my neck. "Or this?"

I feel the warmth of her tongue slowly lick up my neck and push her off. "Oh no. This? Me and you? It's done."

"There was nothing there to begin with." She smirks and it stung more than I'd like to admit.

Ellie's pov

Her jaw clenches and her words come out like venom. "Fuck you."

"I'd like that." I knew all my snarky comebacks would just piss her off even more but I couldn't help it. She was just so fucking hot when she was pissed at me. I guess the sadistic part of me kind of liked seeing her angry at me. Seeing her be hurt by my words just meant she felt something for me. "I'm sure you would."

She stood up from the couch and took one last look at me. "Bring her here again and I'll tell Jesse about us."

Now that. That caught me by surprise. "I'll tell him how you broke my little heart and I can't stand the thought of seeing you. Let's see who's side he picks." She gives me a cunning look and I bite my tongue.

"You wouldn't."

"Is that a challenge?" She shifts her weight, hand on her hips. I wasn't sure if she was bluffing but I sure as hell didn't want to find out. I raise my arms in defeat. "Fine. I won't bring her here."

"Good." She turns around and walks off to her room.

Willow's pov

Jesse eventually came out of his room after I reassured him that me and Ellie were fine. He was still skeptical of course and I took a little bit of back fourth between texts to get him to leave the room.

"Willow I gotta ask." He took a hit from his joint which he refused to share thanks to Ellie and I's little fight.

"What?" I reply as rummage trough the fridge trying to find something to eat. I took one quick glance at Jesse who seemed to be struggling to ask whatever it was he was trying to ask. He scratched his neck awkwardly and sighed.

"Did you and Ellie....you know." My eyes widen realizing what he's implying and I quickly deny it. "Oh god. God no."

"Good, I know you had that little crush on her when you were younger so I was worried."

I felt guilty lying to him but him knowing the truth would just complicate things, both for me and Ellie. "Seriously Willow, I love her but she's not a good person to get romantically involved with. You deserve better."

"What makes you say that?"

I was afraid maybe asking the question might've outed the fact that we hadn't been involved but luckily for me he didn't suspect anything. "She just doesn't know how to stay in relationships that's all. She had a good thing going with cat actually."

"What happened between them?" They'd only mentioned cat briefly when I had first arrived. All I knew about her was the fact that she was an ex band mate of them who Ellie messed around with. Jesse shrugged "Guess she got scared of the fact things were getting serious and told cat they were just friends with benefits. Which obviously pissed her off. She broke things off with Ellie not that I blame her. After a while she left the band too. Haven't heard from her since."

There was long pause before he continued. "So yeah. Just...promise me you won't let the same thing happen to you. Cat was a nice girl, she didn't deserve that."

"Well you've got nothing to worry about then. Me and Ellie don't even get along." I play dumb but something told me he still suspected.

"Yeah about that. I'm taking Dina out tonight, finally growing the balls to ask her out so it'll be just the two of you."

"Oh? Good luck, Dina's great."

"Will you two be okay to not burn the house down?"

"Mm yeah."

"You sure? I won't come back to a crime scene?"

"Jesse we'll be fine." I chuckle beginning to pour myself a bowl of cereal. Not finding anything else to eat. "Where is she anyways?"

"I don't know, I left to my room earlier and when I came back out she was gone." I set the bowl on the table and take a bite. "Willow I would really appreciate it if you two try to get along better."

"Yes big bro."

"I'm serious."

"Okay, okay." I speak with my mouth full of lucky charms and he shakes his head. "Give me that."

"Hey!" I try to stop him from taking a spoon full but he's too quick. "Grmmy bastrrst."

"What is that? I can't understand you." I swallow the cereal and flick him off. "I said your greedy!"

"Says the one hogging the cereal."
