Ellie's pov
"I'm serious Ellie she's off limits."
"Your sister? You have nothing to worry about. She hates me." I roll my eyes as I place the joint in between my lips. Taking on long drag. Jesse had been bitching all day about me keeping it in my pants. His younger sister was moving in to his apartment after dropping out of college. I reassured him he had no reason to be worried. I wouldn't touch Willow even if she was the last woman on earth.
Willow had always been the goodest of good a girl could be. I didn't mean that in a compliment type of way but in the way that she was just plain boring. I was surprised to find out she was moving in with me and Jesse seeing as Jesse isn't exactly a saint.
"She doesn't hate you." Jesse turns the tv on, his feet sitting on the glass coffee table. "Plus she's changed. She's not a goody two shoes anymore."
"Sure she has. One whiff of the weed in this apartment and she'll be right out that door." I point towards the entrance the smoke from the joint spreading across the room. "Stop waving the damn joint and pass it."
I chuckle before taking one last drag and stretching towards him. I hear soft knock on the door and we both turn our heads. "Speak of the devil."
"I'll get it." I pull back the joint still in hand and Jesse tosses his arms in the air defeated. I simply smirk and swing open the door. Her eyes slightly opened in shock but not for longer than a second.
"Is Jesse home?" My eyes travel down to her cleavage and back up to her. She did change. A lot. She had a wolf cut with the tips dyed pink. The willow from back then was repulsed by the thought of even cutting her hair. Her brows furrowed and she cleared her throat.
"Oh uh yeah. He's inside."
"Willow!" Jesse walked up to the door lifting her into a hug. "I'm happy to see you too loser."
"I'm so glad you're here we're gonna have so much fun."
"Fun? Since when does Willow know how to have fun?"
Willow's pov
I roll my eyes. As per usual she just had to be a dick. "Since I matured...something you seem to not be able to do."
"Oh feisty. You have changed." She smirked. God I did not miss her stupid little smug face. "Okay okay. Let's get your stuff inside. Ellie behave."
"Hey I haven't done anything."
"Mind grabbing a bag or two?" I point behind me. I didn't have much considering I left as soon as possible. "So you mentioned you already found a job in the area?"
"Uh yeah..." I hadn't exactly told Jesse what my job was. He would freak for sure but I knew I'd have to tell him eventually. Specially since he and Ellie's band sometimes played live music there from time to time.
"I um its at cosmic dreams." Both him and Ellie turn to look at me and I swallow deeply. My mouth suddenly felt dry. "Huh we preform there...you a bartender?"
I maintain eye contact with Jesse and my face scrunches up in a skeptical type of way. "Lo..."
"Jesse please just don't freak."
"What? No! Absolutely not." At this point Ellie seemed to be amused by the whole situation. Her usual smug face looked at the both of us before opening her mouth to speak. "So. You good on the pole?"
"Ellie!" Jesse's face snaps towards her and she shrugs. "What? She's a grown woman she can do what she wants."
"I know it's just-"
"I'll be fine I promise. Not my first time. How do you think I could afford to not eat noodles everyday in college." We began to unpack my things and I see Ellie take a hold of a pink workout bag.
"I'll do that bag." I snatch a the bag from Ellie's hands and she shrugs.
"Wow wait? You mean to tell me you were stripping in college?" Jesse looks up shocked.
"I wasn't stripping! I'm and exotic pole dancer."
"Whatever you say princess. Anyways so back to you being a stripper."
"I said I'm not a stripper! And don't call me that." I hated that nickname. She'd always used it to antagonize me when we were younger. I hoped she'd forgotten about it but I guess not.
"Sure sure. How much money did you make?"
"I don't see how that's any of your busi-"
"Wow. Lace? Nice." Ellie pulls out a lace underwear form the bag I had snatched from her hands earlier.
"Oh god I don't wanna see that Els!" Jesse turns around making fake throw up sounds. "I told you not to mess with that bag!"
I snatch the underwear from her hands and stuff them inside a drawer. "And you! It's just underwear."
"Yeah my sister's underwear. I just can't believe you're all grown up."
"You're two years older than me Jesse." I mock and he breaks out into a smile. "How about we get a few drinks all three of us?"
"I don't know Jess I'm pretty exhausted."
"Oh come on! Don't be such a drag." Ellie was already halfway out the room. "Whatever."
"Jesse I thought you said she wasn't stuck up anymore." I flash of hurt crosses my face and Jesse looks at me wide eyed. "That is not what I said. I just said you weren't....."
"Weren't?" I question crossing my hands across my chest. "A goody two shoes."
My mouth drops offended and Jesse tilts his head. "You gotta admit Lo you weren't too rebellious."
"And that's a bad thing?"
"Not exactly a fun thing." Ellie mumbled. "I didn't ask you!"
"So how about that drink?" Jesse offered me a another smile and I roll my eyes. "You're paying for all my drinks."
"As if you can hold your liquor." Ellie snorts and I shoot her a glare.

"So when am I gonna meet this new band mate of yours?"
"Dina? Oh she's great." From the look on Jesse's face he was absolutely smitten. I smirk taking a sip out of the huge ass margarita glass on the bar counter. "Oh it's Dina? Why didn't you just say that you made it seem like it was big news..."
Dina was and friend of Ellie's who became friends with Jesse. I never met her seeing as they met her right after I went to college. However I did hear a lot about her specifically from my brother. "Anyways what happened to your last guitarist Whats her name?" I snappy my fingers trying to remember.
"Oh! Cat?"
"Yeah what happened to Cat Ellie?" Jesse gives her a burning look and she rolls her eyes. "For the last time I told her we wouldn't be anything serious."
"Wow sleeping with your band mate? so professional."
"Says the girl who dropped out of college."
"Hey! Ellie don't." Jesse warned and I stood up. "You know what? Fuck you and this lame ass bar. I'm out of here."
"How you gonna get home princess!? In case you forgot we drove here. In my truck." Ellie yells from behind me and I flick her off. Fuck her. Who was she to judge? I pull out my phone and open the Uber app. Id rathe pay an overpriced ride than to spend even a second in an enclosed space with her. I thought things would be different. Id come back live with Jesse. It wasn't until it was too late that he told me Ellie was rooming with him.
It was my first day back and it was already a nightmare. All my memories of her come rushing back with every step I took. I hated her.
