Willow's pov
After figuring out that Jesse had left home early with Dina, Jacklyn and Ellie struggled to stuff me into Ellie's car. I begged and cried for sweets until Ellie gave in.
"Stay in the car. Don't . Move. Please." She looked at me worried as she slowly backed up from the car. Once she stepped inside the store to comply with my demands I hit play on music. The volume was already all the way up and it caused me to jump back before laughing loudly. I hopped my head and waited for Ellie to return.
"Turn this down. It's late." Ellie hissed as she tossed a plastic bag at my feet. "You need to sober up. I got you some water."
"I don't want water! I want skittles, oh, oh, no. I want a snickers. Fuck wait." I scrambled trough the bag before she snatched it away.
"Hey those are mine. Asshole." I mumble and she looks at me surprised before letting out a small huff. "Here. One sip and the. You can have whatever you want."
"Really?" She nodded and I happily complied. Chugging the water down as fast as possible. I look off to the side with a small smile creeping up my lips and she sighed. "Okay, fine. Here."
"I grab the plastic bag and look trough it happily. I finally settle on a small bag of chips. Somehow in between me eating the chips I fell asleep. The next time I wake up I can feel someone messing with my face. Something moist dragged across my eyelids.
"What the fuck?" I jump up scared and Ellie pushes me back down. "Sit still. I'm wiping your makeup off."
"Oh okay." I lay back down on my bed. "Is Jesse home?" I speak with my eyes closed as I let her wipe away my makeup. "He's a Dina's."
"Okay all done." Her voice spoke to me in a gentle tone and I flutter my eyes open. "Thanks."
"You feeling better?" Her hand moves some hair out of my forehead and I nod in response. "Why can't we always be like this?"
Her eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly and I continued. "If you don't want me don't act so sweet. It's so unfair to me."
"I know." Her hand gently caressed my hair. My eyelids began to feel heavy and I could hear the background of her voice saying something before she stood up.
Ellie's pov
I felt my hand get pulled before I could leave.
"Stay here." Willow spoke in a mumble of words. I swallowed deeply and stood there. Her hand was freezing cold and I knew what it would mean if I stayed. If I woke up next to her. It would mean giving her hope. I promised myself not to get close but I failed terribly.
I lay next to her and she immediately buried her head into my neck. Her breath tickled my neck with every steady breath. Eventually I'm able to relax enough to fall asleep. When I woke back up again my body felt cold. Willow's warmth no longer near me. I however was still in her bed.
"You're awake?" Her room door opens and she walks in. Her hair was damp and it curled on her shoulders.
"Uh yeah." I stand up awkwardly. "About last night..."
"It's okay. You were pretty drunk." I start to walk out but she blocks the door. "One date."
"What?"
"Let me take you out on a date. If by the end of this date you decide you want nothing to do with me then I'll leave you alone. For good."

I bit my lip nervously, leaning against my foot stopping her from escaping the conversation.
"Okay." She nodded her head and my brow quirked up. Did she just agree?
"Okay?" I tilt my head confused. "Uh yeah?"
"So you're agreeing? To a date? With me?"
"Yeah. Is that not what you wanted?" I stare at her with a blank face. My head filled with millions of different thoughts and outcomes. Like maybe she had only agreed so she'd finally get it over with. Reject me for good. Shit, shit. What if she actually was interested. I nod my head at her and step aside.
"This weekend at eight. We can um i don't know watch a movie or something."
"Don't worry about the planning I'll worry about that. You just get pretty for me okay?" She smirked down at me which took me by surprise considering I was the one that asked her out on a date. After she exited the room I stood still for a few minutes dumbfounded? Confused?

The week couldn't pass any slower. I'll admit I felt like some stupid teen girl excited to see her crush. Except I lived with mines and I saw her everyday. I sat on my bed clothes scattered on the floor as I debated on what I should wear. Id tried on about a thousands things and none looked good enough.
Ugh whatever. I put on a knife pleated style skirt and black long sleeve shirt. Plain and simple. I look in the mirror. Something was missing. Hmm. Fishnets. I dig in my closet some more and struggle to put them on.
"Slay." I talk to myself taking one last look in the mirror. I hear a knock on my door and immediately run before stopping. I didn't want to seem so desperate that I swing the door open immediately. I count for three seconds before opening the door. My smile falters when I see it's just Jesse.
"What do you want?"
"Hey don't be so mean. Just here to tell you she's taking you to an arcade. I see you're dressed just fine."
"Did I ever tell you how great of a brother you are?" Jesse quirks up a brow. "Uh huh."
"Well where is she?"
"Downstairs in her freaking. She's gonna text you in a few minutes watch."
"She's nervous?"
"Totally." Jesse smiled patting my back. "You got her wrapped around your finger Im telling you."
