"Fuck I gotta pee. How long till the next exit?" Ellie gripped her thighs tightly and Jesse apologized for missing the rest area for a second time.

"Uh one moment Els." Dina looks down at the gps on her phone. "Right here Jesse, JESSE RIGHT HERE!"

Jesse abruptly switches lanes causing Ellie to squish me against the door. "Ah fuck!" She mutters crossing her legs. "Hurry the fuck up Jesse."

I push her off saving my body from being crushed to death. Jesse parks in gas station near the exit and Ellie zooms out the car. To be fair she'd been holding it for about an hour and a half no thanks to Jesse. I calmly make my way towards the gas station and giggle to myself watching Ellie attempt to walk while holding her legs together.

"God I really needed to stretch." Dina stretches her arms in the air and I follow suit. "Yeah I can't believe it's already been four hours. Just two more to go."

We walk in, the air conditioner of the store hitting my face just perfectly. "Let's get slushies."

"Sure." We walk up to the slush machine and Ellie finds us quickly. "I'm so not letting your brother finish the rest of the ride."

"That we can agree on. I don't even know how he even got his license. It's really a miracle."

"Oh you guys don't tease him too much." Dina fills her slushie cup all the way up and I roll my eyes. "You only protect him cause you're his girlfriend, I saw the way your hands gripped the car door."

Dina held in a laugh and winked. "Don't tell him that." We pay for our drinks and make our way back to the car. Ellie approached the drivers seat and Jesse lowered the window. "What?"

"Give me my keys back that's what."

"But-"

"You're lucky you even got to drive my baby." Ellie gave him an unamused look and he sighed. I'm then joined by Jesse in the back seats. "Welcome to the dark side Jess."

"Shut up nerd." He flicks my hair and leans in. "Look at that our girlfriends in the front, leading, commanding."

"Ellie is not my girlfriend." I mutter, my cheeks hot and suddenly sweaty. "Sure, sure. Whatever you guys say."

"Ugh you're so annoying." I push his shoulder off me and Ellie looks at us trough the mirror. "No fighting back there!"

"Fuck off."

"Language." Jesse places his palm on his chest dramatically and I roll my eyes. "You two share one brain cell."

"And that's why they're best friends."

The rest of the car ride is smooth and without any abrupt turns or any more rerouting. We finally arrive at the hotel we had chosen. The lobby empty except for a few employees which was expected since we arrive at night. Jesse being even more mother than Dina is starts to check us in.

"Three rooms please." The receptionist starts typing away, her long acrylic nails echoed trough the lobby.

"I am so sorry there's only two rooms available right now."

"Oh um." Jesse turns around to look at us concerned. "You two okay with sharing?"

Now that Jesse was dating Dina there would be no sharing a room with him. I wanted to protest but I was too tired to argue.

"Sure." I answer in a unbothered tone and Ellie looks at me with her brow quirked up. "You're serious?"

Jesse turns around to finish checking us in and I shrug. "What can we do?"
